Lovely recreational home on Kaag Island, right on the water! The island can be reached 24/7 with the ferry that runs continuously. The vastness of the meadows and beautiful Dutch pictures. The tranquility and yet central with Leiden and Amsterdam the corner. But also nice to the sea in Katwijk or Noordwijk! ...wake up in the morning with coffee on the jetty, a fresh dip in the water... The house is completely furnished for a nice vacation! Games are available and a SUP & Optimist. The space Guests have the entire home to themselves. There is a spacious terrace with awning, garden set, garden and in front of the garden is a public field where children can play a ball game. Would you like to play tennis? There are rackets and balls in the cottage, and the Kaagse Tennis Club is within walking distance. (Let us know in advance and we will make sure you are registered and whether there are jobs available) Guest access The recreational home can be reached by car via the car ferry that sails 7 days a week 24 hours a day immediately when you report. The ferry costs 5.50 euros per crossing by car. In the park, there is a parking space available per cottage. If you come with several cars, they must be parked across the street in the parking lot behind Brasserie Mats. The house is also accessible by the sloop, docking the sloop is possible in consultation. Other things to note Be careful with small children. The garden is lockable, but there is water everywhere. Swimming diplomas are recommended. There is a children's life jacket (2-5 years) and a life jacket for paddling (8-12 years) in the cottage. There is an Optimist (sailboat for children up to 12 years old) available. Some sailing experience is necessary. Walking on the dike and in the meadow is allowed on the island. Stay on the "Laarzenpad" as much as possible when walking through the meadows (and leave the cows alone.) No parties allowed. Music is not allowed after 11:00 p.m. BBQ is allowed (there is a Kamado) but no open fires (fire pit, campfire, etc.). Smoking is not allowed inside.
