Single Bedroom in relaxed home @ Nyumbani

Our single room in a friendly shared home is 3.5 miles from central Exeter, a short drive from beaches & nature walks, in a great position both for work and exploring. On arrival, I'll show you the kitchen, answer any questions and pass on keys. We host between 1 & 3 guests. You're welcome to hangout in the diner or enjoy the peace of your room. Bathrooms are shared with up to 2 other guests. One parking space is allocated on a first come, first served basis. The space We have 2 rooms available at Nyumbani, a single and double. I live at the house and am on hand to check you in, hand over keys and show you around between 18.00 and 20.30. We share a kitchen and have a range of utensils and cooking equipment for you to use during your stay. The bathroom is for use of the guests in the single and double rooms. Shared spaces are cleaned once a week. The room charge is low and covers the cost of cleaning your room only. We all leave shared spaces clean and tidy for the next person to use. Please check the photographs for a picture of Marley, our big, friendly boxer dog, as you can see from our reviews, he's well liked. If you are nervous around dogs, the house isn't suitable for you. We'll check with you pre-booking that you're aware of him, so can't rehome or lock him away him for your stay. Marley isn't allowed in to guest rooms. A lot of our return guests are here for work, so our quiet hours begin at 22.00 - 06.00am. You're welcome to come and go as soon as you've collected your key at check in. Guests are welcome to hang out in the diner area of the kitchen to chat or relax in your room. We've recently upgraded bedrooms to comply with fire regulations, including wired interlinked alarms in each guest room and fire doors with a 30 minute rating. To prevent stumbling in the dark in unfamiliar surroundings, the hall and landing have motion sensors to turn lights on when needed. There's a list of places to eat and transport in each room and guest recommendations in the kitchen. There is one parking space allocated on a first-come, first served basis. There is on street parking. Please feel free to ask any questions before booking. Guest access Guests can check in between 18.00 and 20.30 to collect keys. Due to work, we're unable to admit guests after this time in any event, so please be sure to arrive in time and secure travel insurance to cover an event of delay.
