Riga city center is only 30 minutes away by train or car. • Local Flavors: We are steps away from the legendary "Ruberts" bakery – their famous cakes are a local must-try! For dinner with a view, visit "Brandīns" by the Daugava river, or grab what might be the best burgers in Latvia at "Uguns Cafe". • Nature & Walks: A 15-minute stroll leads to the scenic Daugava River promenade, ideal for sunset walks or morning jogs. • Outdoor Adventure: A short drive away is the Blue Hills (Ogres Zilie kalni) Nature Park – perfect for hiking and cycling. In summer, bicycles can be rented, and in winter there is a lit trail and cross-country ski rent. Guest access Guests have full, private access to the entire studio and all its amenities. Access is provided via a key safe (self check-in), giving you full flexibility to arrive at your convenience after the check-in time. Free and easy parking is almost always available right next to the building. Other things to note We value tranquility and our neighbors, so please observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM. Parties and smoking inside are strictly prohibited. Local Tip: Ikšķile is home to St. Meinard's Island. During summer (usually August/September), the water level of the Daugava River is often lowered, allowing you to walk to the historic 12th-century church ruins on foot along an ancient stone path!
