Welcome to this large, quiet and bucolic house in the heart of the Norman bocage. Nestled in Souleuvre en Bocage, a small village with all amenities, 3 minutes from the A84 highway. You will be less than 1 hour from the D-Day beaches, Sainte Mère Eglise or Mont St Michel. Then come and relax in the garden or around a game of pool before staying in this large romantic room with its sitting area, balcony without neighbors and private bathroom. The space This large bedroom with private bathroom is located on the upper floor of the house. It consists of a queen size bed, a seating area with coffee maker and kettle as well as a south-facing balcony where you can enjoy your drink while enjoying a beautiful unobstructed view of a Natura2000 area of the Virois bocage. The bedroom has direct access to a large private bathroom with a spacious bathtub. Towels are provided. We provide shower gel and shampoo. The toilets are separate and will be reserved for the duration of your stay. On the ground floor, you can play a game of billiards or darts in the game room. If we are present and you wish, we will be happy to share a game with you. You can also sit on the terrace and enjoy the whole garden. Parking is available. A covered space with 11kW compatible power socket for charging your electric vehicle is also accessible if needed (at your expense). Located in Saint Martin des Besaces, you will find all the necessary shops within walking distance (bakery, bar-tobacconist, post office, bank, butcher, supermarket...) and its museum retracing the liberation of the Bocage during the 2nd World War. You will be 3 minutes from the A84, which will allow you to quickly reach the landing beaches. In 15 minutes you can enjoy the Viaduct of the Souleuvre and its mythical bungee jumping from a point designed by Gustave Eiffel, go zip-lining, pendulum jumping, etc., or visit the slate quarry. In 30 minutes, you can be in the small alleys of Bayeux and its military cemetery, at the Caen Memorial, in Saint Lô, a city 95% destroyed during the bombings of 1944, as well as in Vire. In 1 hour, you can go to Mont Saint Michel and be at the gates of Brittany where you can enjoy the flowered coast on the boards of Deauville and dine in the charming village of Honfleur. 2.5 hours will be enough to get to Paris Guest access Easy access from the A84 highway, exit 41.
