The Hacienda

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful mountain retreat! The Hacienda is meant to be family friendly with a laid back feel. There are 2 living rooms and plenty of room for activities such as family game night. It is also a perfect place to unplug and breath the mountain air on the porch with a good book while soaking in the view. The Hacienda is also a great hub for local adventures such as Chama’s Cumbres & Toltec Railroad, hiking, or fly fishing. The space The Hacienda is located on a privately owned 400 acre gated ranch. The ranch is located in the high desert of New Mexico. The Hacienda features a rustic New Mexican cabin decor. . Guest access Guests will have access to the entire Hacienda (it is a private house). Guests are encouraged to explore the property around the pond and take walks along the gravel drive. Hopefully you will see some wildlife such as elk, bear, and mule deer! You are welcome to visit the barn (but please do not feed the horses). Spectators are encouraged if team roping practice is going on in the arena! Other amenities are available for additional cost upon request (such as horseback riding, the use of bicycles, and trail tours) depending on the season and availability. Please message us to discuss options. Other things to note Unfortunately wild fires are a very serious risk in our area. Therefore, outdoor fires and all fire works are strictly prohibited. Please remember that you are in the woods. Mountain lions, bears, bobcats, and coyotes are prevalent. For this reason, please do not leave trash or food outdoors. The wildlife must be respected and admired from a distance.
