They help keep everyone safe and preserve this unique mountain cabin. Safety Notice – Elevated Deck: The cabin includes a high elevated deck (approximately 15 feet) designed for adults to enjoy the view. Due to the height and outdoor structure, the deck may be unsafe for toddlers or young children. We recommend this cabin for adults and older children only, and children must be supervised at all times. GENERAL RULES 🚫 NO PETS are allowed on the property. 🚭 NO SMOKING anywhere on the property. A $500 USD fine will apply if these rules are broken. 🔹 A government-issued photo ID is required for all adults for legal and compliance purposes. Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin, gardens, and private parking area. While we provide detailed arrival instructions and a video guide, 4×4 vehicle is recommended for the final stretch of mountain road. While the cabin road is now partially paved, access includes steep roads and may feel challenging for guests who are not used to rural driving conditions. Self-check-in available Other things to note The Cabin is surrounded by a private natural preserve you’ll likely see hummingbirds, other local birds, right from the deck. Please keep the sliding glass doors closed whenever possible, especially during the day. Curious hummingbirds may fly inside, and with the tall ceilings, it’s very difficult (and stressful for them) to guide them back out safely. (In case of a hummingbird entering the cabin there is a net in the cabinet, under the microwave.) Restricted Areas For safety and maintenance reasons, the laundry room, back garage door, and the tall cabinet next to the master vanity are locked and not accessible to guests. Please do not attempt to open these areas.
