This is the only campsite on 42 acres, and it isn't in a backyard or pasture. The Riverfront Ritz earned 94 five-star reviews as a Tentrr campsite. Campsite is very well equipped with cast iron cookware, Dishware, silverware, camp towels, dish soap, tea pot, all the things you need and some you didn't even know you needed. Main canvas safari tent has queen bed with a real mattress. (Bring your own bedding) There is now another platform with second canvas tent also with queen bed with a real mattress and its own propane heater. This second tent is included in the daily rate. An extra tent is available to set up if needed. Two Coleman camp cots available as extras. Two burner gas cooktop with a Coleman Coffee Maker and weber grill available as extras. Don't fret about what the weatherman predicts, we all know they are mostly wrong! And there is no need to worry about rainy weather as there are Ritzy Rain Repellers over the camp kitchen, the dining room table and the front porch. Downed wood & kindling available for the picking. Dry campfire firewood available on site for purchase. Floating raft to fish from or just sit and enjoy the view. New addition is a 6 x 20 floating mat that several people can enjoy at the same time. You can practice walking on water. For your convenience and enjoyment there is a Coleman Bluetooth speaker, Coleman flashlights, Coleman lanterns, Two Coleman fans all with rechargeable batteries., plus Coleman camp chairs. You can also recharge your cell phones, laptops, anything with a usb charge cord with the Coleman rechargeable batteries. Village shopping just 2 miles away, Outlet mall, Painted Pony Championship Rodeo, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), Lake George and Saratoga all within about 15-20 miles. Horseback riding, golf, hiking, rafting, sandy public beach, all just minutes away. There is cell service at the camp, and you are welcome to use my Wi fi but that is not at campsite, but at my home/garage area. You won't have to bring your trash home as Camp Keeper takes care of bagged garbage and recyclables. Two Kayaks, Paddle Board, 2 person kneeling canoe, pedal boat, tubes, floating mat, available for use as extra add ons. For those that have visited the Riverfront Ritz, there have been some great improvements. The REALLY ROCKY ROAD is now BARELY BUMPY!!! The ground around the tents have been rearranged so that there are actually some nearly level spots to put chairs and such. Camp kitchen has a New stainless steel kitchen sink and countertop, new kitchen floor and new ceramic look tile on bathroom walls. Shower stall (with on demand hot water) is now near the main tent near the #1 loo which is in a real porta potty building. Now two canvas safari tents both with queen beds for extra privacy and comfort. You will be flabbergasted. Site guidelines The flow of the river is predicted to be lower this season, so it is a perfect time to explore the areas of the river that never get seen. Maybe bring your metal detector and find some treasures. Bring fishing gear, don't forget river shoes and bug/tick repellent, tiki torch fuel. 4x4 or AWD with good ground clearance will get you to the doorstep, decent ground clearance SUV type with good traction tires to within 100 yards, Low clearance (less than 6 inches) a half mile walk, but I can help transport supplies to campsite with my pickup/UTV to help you get settled in and return at checkout to transport your stuff to car. For ease of use and camper safety, this site features thermostatically controlled propane tent heaters that will keep you toasty all night without having to get up and stoke the fire! Relax in cozy comfort without the hassle of a wood stove. All of the extra add ons are for your entire stay and you can wait until you arrive to decide, then pay campkeeper directly.
