Holiday Cottage "Antlers"

The holiday cabin "Skudriņas" is a great place to escape to the quiet of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is a refuge of peace and tranquility, where on hot days you can swim in the pond and enjoy grilled food in the gazebo, while on cooler days you can gather in the living room by the fireplace or in the hot tub. For outdoor relaxation: The hot tub is available for an additional fee of 60 EUR (10 EUR for each additional day it is heated with wood). The space Our cabin is surrounded by farmland, and the scenery changes with the seasons. During summer the fields are usually green or golden with wheat, while from autumn to early spring (approximately September to May) the land may be brown and freshly plowed. Please note that the view might differ from the photos depending on the season. These seasonal changes can also be seen in the latest aerial photos at the end of the gallery. As the cabin is located near the Lithuanian border, it’s a great opportunity to combine your relaxation with a visit to our neighboring country. We’ve also prepared a small “Guide to Local Attractions” featuring points of interest within approximately 35 km of your accommodation. Permanent residents: Our friendly cat, Mičiņš, will likely greet you near the cabin. He is always well-fed and taken care of, so there’s no need to worry about him. However, Mičiņš will never say no to a treat – we’ve prepared a few snacks in the cabin if you’d like to spoil him! Near the forest, you might also spot some deer. The cabin is heated with a wood-burning stove. Instructions and everything you need for lighting the stove can be found on-site. Please note that on chilly mornings, the indoor temperature may be cool, so you’ll need to light the stove. If you’d like the cabin to be warm upon your arrival, let the host know in advance, and the stove will be pre-lit for you. Guest access Please note that only the number of guests specified in the reservation are allowed to stay on the cabin premises (unless otherwise agreed in advance). Pets are also allowed only if payment for them has been made at the time of booking Other things to note Sleeping arrangements (up to 8 people): -two 160x200 beds in the bedroom; -a pull-out sofa bed in the living room (120x200); -a large pull-out sofa in the living room (150x200); -bed linen, pillows, and blankets included. Cooking facilities: -large dining table for up to 8 people; -grill and skewers (charcoal not included); -induction stove with 2 burners, two sizes of pots, and a large frying pan; -microwave oven; -fridge with a separate freezer compartment; -kettle, espresso machine (tea and coffee provided); -tableware for 8 people: large and small plates, forks, tablespoons, teaspoons, whiskey glasses, wine glasses, corkscrew, grater, cutting boards, and other useful accessories; -basic cooking supplies: oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and more. Indoor activities: -fireplace; -board games; -Bluetooth speaker; -vinyl record player (with a collection of around 100 records). Outdoor activities: -hot tub available for an additional fee (60 EUR for the day, 10 EUR for each additional day when heated with firewood); -pond for fishing or swimming (please watch children – the pond is not fenced); -gazebo with seating for up to 8 people for enjoying grilled meals. For guest convenience: -hairdryer; -toilet paper; -small first aid kit; -hygiene products: shampoo, shower gel, soap; -towels; -cleaning supplies and a broom.
