Just about an hour south of Nashville in Summertown, the Heart of Tennessee, I’m sharing this amazing beautiful art house by a lake with other easy going folks who would like to come for retreat or work and have time and space to enjoy some quiet creative time in the area. We are very near the Farm, a 50 year intentional community with thousands of acres of wild lands, waterfalls, creeks, and regular music and dance. Also near David Crockett State Park, the Amish community, and scenic places EXTENDED STAY for one woman guest available starting May 1. 3 months plus.. 1,050 pr month, nice room on the main floor, next to bath, with great view of the lake! The Heron House is a beautifully designed art house with many rooms on 3 floors that flow into each other. I’m an artist and a writer and I travel frequently so the house is available for up to 4 individuals who can come and go as they please. The cost pr individual pr night is $35-39and there are a few choices of sleeping spaces.. in the open, semi-private rooms.. Hear and watch the wild geese on the lake, the many forms of wildlife from the picture windows on every side of the house. If you like plants, enjoy them or even get your hands in the dirt therapeutically with the flower beds and gardens. Many places to get outside and hike, or just rest and read and catch up on sleep. Nearby golf course where you can walk or play a game. Plenty of resting spaces in and around the house. Musical instruments you can play, and a huge collection of music and books. Sometimes I’m available for guests, but mostly just like to peacefully flow and co-exist. The kitchen is available and there’s room for people to create the experience they want. Amish community, thefarm.org, music, Dances of Universal peace weekly, just an hour south of nashville and north of Florence, Alabama Plenty of parking on this one acre piece of land beside a 20 acre lake, and only a couple of neighbors within a half mile. Not set up for couples, but girlfriends could come together.
