£74.60 / £61.80 return Wightlink ferry available. We have to book it. Direct view onto the Bay. Decking to front and side. Free unlimited WIFI. The private beach is dog friendly, there is a bath to clean off all that sand from happy pooches! Cleaning fee includes providing and washing all bedding and towels. Parking next to caravan for 2 cars, one in front of the other Our Holiday home can be hired 12 months of the year. Parkdean facilities are seasonal from the end of March to end of October The space Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits as well as salt, pepper will be available on the Welcome Tray, so you can relax and freshen up before going shopping and starting your holiday. Please note, this is on your arrival, not continuously topped up! The single beds are full size, not narrow, there is a king size bed and a pull out double sofa bed. Bath and face towels, fitted sheets, duvet covers and pillows will all be provided. The beds will be made up so, if you would prefer to use your own, please let us know. All kitchen utilities and utensils are supplied, as well as tableware and tea towels. A few cleaning supplies and 'useful bits n pieces', such as replacement bulbs and batteries will be made available for your convenience. Please replace anything that runs out, such as tin foil or washing up liquid, ready for the next guests, thank you. There is a wet bin for household waste under the sink and a dry bin for recycling. Please bring your own doggy and beach towels. Please also bring a dog blanket for the settee, there is only one change of cushion covers available! Under the sink is a picnic bag with airtight food boxes and 2 spare dog bowls, in case you forgot them! The oven is gas, the living room fire is electric. Instructions for using the boiler for heating and hot water are on the boiler. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail. The large bedroom is en suite with a shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. We supply an electric fan in each room for those hot summer days. On the decking there is seating, a table, a temporary dog gate, a boot rack and a couple of brushes. On rainy days, please push the chairs back under the table to keep the cushions dry and replace the cover at the end of your visit, thank you. Smoking and vaping is allowed outside, NOT INSIDE. There are some ashtrays on the deck, please remove your used cigarettes from the deck and around the caravan when you go, thank you. NO BBQs ON THE DECK OR NEXT TO THE CARAVAN (park rules) A first aid kit is located in the kitchen under the sink. Please report all accidents to reception and replace items that you use from this kit. Thank you. Guest access Guests rent the whole of the chalet, there are 4 steps up to the decking Other things to note Our relaxing holiday home is set in a peaceful location at Thorness Bay, Parkdean Holiday Park. Surrounded by woods, meadows, marshes and a private beach, we have one of the best views to the bay in the park. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the caravan, sitting on the decking, enjoying a drink and watching for the red squirrels in the oak canopy above. Behind the caravan is a large grassy area perfect for children to play and run around safely away from the roads. Just 5 minutes walk away is the entertainment centre, operated by Parkdean Resorts. The facilities are seasonal, opening from the end of March until the end of October. Please note that if you wish to use the swimming pool and indoor entertainment, passes are required which can be purchased from reception, I.D. is now required. Outside shows are free. Hub Pass prices 2024 per person: Peak times are the school holiday dates Off peak 7 nights £12, 0-6 nights £10.80 On peak 7 nights £21, 0- nights £18.90 Under 2’s are free, passes must be bought and stamped at reception Free seasonal park facilities include a bar, restaurant, small shop, fish and chip shop, ice cream hut and arcade. Open for free year round use are the adventure playground and ball courts as well as a laundrette. Reception operates year round, subject to opening hours and security is present 365 days a year. IMPORTANT NOTICE: by order of the management of Parkdean Resorts, electric and hybrid vehicles cannot be charged anywhere on our site. Please also note e-scooters are not allowed on Parkdean Resorts sites.There are no electric car charging points on Thorness Bay and cars cannot be charged from the accommodation as it would overload the system and be a fire hazard. There are fast charge points at ASDA in Newport. There is no public transport (only taxis!).
