The space The Room:- A spacious contemporary décor room, all to yourself on the top floor of our town house. We think the room contains everything you should need for a pleasant stay in our home. Including stylish coverless duvets freshly laundered in preparation of your stay, and multi speed retractable blade ceiling fan, super quiet and can be left on all night with no sleep disruption, with timer and perfect for those warm summer nights. The room is accessed through our hallway and up two flights of stairs. This is not a bed and breakfast room, there are no cooking facilities in the room or available in our house. We do provide a selection of tea, coffee (coffee pod machine), milk, sugar and bottled water stored in a good sized small countertop fridge in the room, which also provides chilled space should you wish to keep drinks, snacks/fruit etc.. and close to our home, a couple of minutes’ walk away, there is a small independent coffee stop that serves fresh locally roasted coffee & snacks from 8am each morning. It’s also right next to Lidl’s supermarket with bakery. You can leave luggage early on your day of arrival, with prior arrangement if you want to unload your car and go and explore the area beforehand. Driveway parking is available and we ask for confirmation that you require this beforehand. We will leave you to the privacy of your room and available should you need us for anything. Please note there is no access to the kitchen or other areas of our home. Pets are not allowed. This is a NO SMOKING & NO VAPING property and we would request that this rule is respected both inside and outside the accommodation. There is a 'motion detected' camera facing the front door. It’s on 24/7 with recording stored up to 30 days for safety and security reasons, after such time the recording is automatically deleted. About Us :- We are a professional couple having lived in the town for a number of years and able to pass on local knowledge of best places to go and explore, where to eat etc... The Area:- Located in the historic market town of Wallingford-on-Thames with rich history, the riverside, and a wide variety of local amenities close by. A short pathway walk will lead you to the main marketplace in the town where there's a great selection of independent shops, coffee shops, pubs & restaurants. Oxford and Reading are approx. 30 mins away, Henley some 20 minutes and the Thames path is nearby as well as The Agatha Christie trail. Guest access Flexible check-in. Let us know if you need to check in earlier than 4pm. This shouldn't be a problem and there is no extra charge, however we need to know beforehand.
