Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Gardeners Cottage is spacious for the family or just a good space for a couple wanting to relax. Gardeners Cottage is attached to the historic Ardlamont House and is nestled amongst beautiful woodland on the shores of Loch Fyne. Ardlamont is ideal for nature lovers, photographers, and artists, or anyone seeking isolation and peace. A few minutes walk and your’e on the private beach known as Ardlamont Bay. The space Gardeners Cottage is spacious enough for the family/friends to stay or a couple looking for extra room to relax in. There’s plenty of room in the bedrooms where the master has a comfortable kingsize bed and the second bedroom has cosy twin beds that can be linked together to make a super king bed, ( please request this if needed when booking) There’s a dining table in the living room that can sit four over looking the walled garden, enjoy the wood burner for those cosy nights in. The bathroom has a large bath and over bath shower. The kitchen has all you need if you’re wanting to stay in and cook. We have a large TV and WiFI is available but not the best due to the remote location so if you’re working from home it’s not very reliable for that. Ardlamont House is a historical building and has some lovely grounds to explore, you can dine alfresco in the walled garden . A few minutes walk and you will find yourself on the private beach , if the tide is out it’s sandy if it’s in its pebbles, either way it’s beautiful! The views to the Island of Arran are great for photography. There’s some great coastal walks on the Cowal peninsula or cycling trails if you’re bringing your bikes. To access Gardeners Cottage there’s a stone stairway to the front door. Please note while in Gardeners we have a no shoes on policy. Well behaved Dogs are welcome. And most importantly enjoy your visit. Guest access To Access Gardeners there’s a stone staircase, your welcome to enjoy the gardens and surrounding grounds , there’s a private beach to enjoy. Other things to note Well behaved Dogs are welcome, but please keep under control and not left in the gardens or property alone. If you need extra logs for the log burner you can purchase them for £5 per bag.
