The space Kingfisher Retreat is fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable, self-contained getaway any time of the year. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed. The living/dining area is open plan, and the crafted kitchen is fully resourced. There is a bathroom and laundry facilities. The Retreat is perfect for couples or for small families, with twin single beds in the second bedroom. Heating/aircon is provided by a heat pump. There is also a wood burner. Luxury features including under-tile heating in the kitchen/dining area, fine cotton linens, and an outdoor, wood fired clawfoot bath. Other things to note There’s already tea, Nespresso coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper in the house for you to use as you wish. Otherwise, if self-catering, the basics are available in Waitati and the closest full-service supermarket is New World Gardens in Dunedin. If you want to dine locally then ARC Brewery is close by and a good, family friendly place. It's open Friday through Sunday and often also on public holidays. It has visiting food trucks, which provide good cuisine. You can dine there with a brew or takeout as you prefer.
