Tamarindo is a quick 30 minute drive away with a lot more restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. It is worth noting this home is located in the Marino las Baulas de Guanacaste National Park.   This national park protects the main nesting beaches for the leatherback and green turtles of the Tropical Eastern Pacific. Please note that from October 20 th to February 15 th people are not allowed on the beach from sunset to sunrise so as to not disturb the turtles as they come in to lay their eggs.
