Cozy cottage behind main house, complete kitchen and bath, loft bedroom, full washer and dryer, and everything you need for an amazing stay in Berkeley's coveted Elmwood neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance. Bus to SF is half a block away, and BART is an easy walk. Our property backs onto an Easy Bay Municipal Reservoir, so even though it's in the heart of the city with two main arteries nearby, it's quiet. An absolute walker's paradise! The space Welcome to Elmwood cottage, a fully equipped unit with everything you need: full kitchen (gas range, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, table and chairs - everything except a dishwasher), comfortable bedroom loft with queen bed and reading chair, *The bedroom loft is located upstairs and requires climbing U shape stairs. (photo of the stairs you can see under bedroom section ) Bathroom with heated floors and all the extras you need for a comfortable stay, big sofa (not suitable for sleeping), desk, and washer and dryer. Guest access Cottage is located in the back of the main residence. Enter through the driveway, open the wooden gate, and follow the stone path to the front of the property on the right. Other things to note *Free street parking : The street has a 2 hours of free parking during the week days 8am-7pm. You can park freely during the night so you can basically park your car in the same spot after 5pm until 10am the next morning and freely during the weekends. If you are around during the day, you can just move your car to a different spot. It's easy to find a parking spot on our quiet street. if you are not around during the day and want to leave your car worry free we also have numbers of parking passes if needed.(you can find 1-2 passes on the fridge-if more needed please ask) Anyway, we can find a solution for you.
