You'll find all you need to enjoy your stay: fast wifi, TV (Prime login) induction hob, microwave, mini fridge, and en-suite shower room. Stunning beaches, golf courses, castles, water sports, hill walking, distillery & Edinburgh city, all in just 30 mins drive of your pod. East Lothian Council EL00027F The space With a kitchen area, dining table and chairs, comfortable sofa, television (through Fire Stick, reqiures Prime log-in ) queen size bed and your own compact shower room, it's a home away from home. You'll also have outdoor table and chairs with parasol on your own personal decking area, so you can kick back, share a glass and enjoy your rural break to the full. Relaxation, comfort and a beautiful view, a great combination for a few days away. Guest access There is a grass covered area to the east of the pods for picnics etc. A fire pit is provided for use by our guests and fire pit boxes containing charcoal, logs, fire lighters, marchmallows and skewers are available onsite for an additional cost. There is a well maintianed grass walkway all around the field to the front of the pods and this provides a beautiful nature walk for guests to enjoy. The River Tyne runs along the southern edge of the field and you can sit for a while on the bench and take in the sights, sounds and smells of the beatiful East Lothian countryside. Other things to note We are situated in the countryside and although there is some public transport past the farm it is not very frequent so it is much easier for our guests to have a car when staying with us. We are within easy reach of Edinburgh for visiting the Fringe Festival, Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh Castle, The Palace of Holyrood, Christmas Market etc and if you don't want to drive into the city, you can leave the car at a park and ride and take the train in. Many guests also book with us when they have tickets for tha large musical events staged at Murrayfield. East Lothian boasts some incredible championship golf courses and we are only approx. 20 mins away from most of these, including Renaissance and Archerfield.
