Unique Cube House in heart of Rotterdam! Room 3

Welcome to the one of the most unique places in Rotterdam! Designed by Dutch architect Piet Blom, this residential complex are literally cubes, tilted over by 45 degrees. This results in buildings that look, feel and behave unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere in the world. Live it up like a local in the centre of Rotterdam. The space The cube houses are designed by Dutch architect & artist Piet Blom in the mid-1970s. The whole cube house site is in fact constructed as part of a pedestrian bridge, crossing a road. In fact, the original inspiration to the idea was coming from the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy. The architect Piet Blom's idea was to create a structure resembling a forest, where each cube would represent a tree and they together would resemble the forest. ********************************************************************************************* My Cube has three levels. On the first floor, you'll find a spacious living room with TV, fully equipped half-open kitchen and restroom. The second floor of the Cube has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom with a comfy, big bed and the second bedroom with two separate single beds (which can be joined together as well). Both bedrooms offer enough space to hang your clothes. The bathroom is equipped with bathtub with shower and two separate sinks for your comfort. The top floor room has a comfortable sofa bed and a one of a kind 360-degree view! An air mattress is available for an additional Guest. The cube house is also an excellent location for trips to Amsterdam, Leiden, Delft, Den Haag, Utrecht... Station Blaak is just a stone's throw away. At the Cube you will also find a custom-made city guide of Rotterdam, which includes all the gems that locals like to visit, so you can enjoy Rotterdam to the fullest and have some more spare space in your baggage! There are various other guides, brochures and information about the city and The Netherlands, to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Fast & free WI-FI is available for you in the whole house. Guest access As my guest, you will have an exclusive access to 1 bedroom of the Cube House. Additionally, you share the kitchen, bathroom, living room and some other spaces with your 2 flat mates. All three bedrooms can be locked separately. During your stay The Cube House is equipped with a lockbox for the key so we won't meet at your arrival. It's a very convenient solution both for the guests and the owner of the house. Other things to note Dear guests, please keep in mind that: *SMOKING INSIDE THE APARTMENT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN * the apartment is not suitable for small children. The Cube House has multiple stairs and no elevator: not only will you have to climb some stairs to reach the front door, but the cube house itself consists of several floors as well, which means you need to climb stairs once inside as well.
