Beautiful and quiet! Our Glamping spot is tucked into the trees on our 1 acre property. Peek-a-boo views to the ocean and the spectacular Mt Joan. We have abundant bird life everywhere! We are a 5 minute walk to a sunny, quiet, serene stretch of beach along the Comox peninsula, and very close to Kai Bay and other secret spots. We are a short half hour drive to Strathcona Park and Mt Washington, featuring breathtaking hikes complete with alpine lakes and crystalline rivers. The space We have a cozy, comfortable 17 ft long, 7 ft diameter, cedar sleeping barrel with a pull out table and room to stash your gear. (an ideal getaway bubble!) Your glamping spot also includes a composting toilet outhouse and a propane 'hot water on demand' shower. We have created a kitchen complete with all the amenities - a barbeque, a 3 burner propane stove, large prep area, 2 coolers, small dining table and lounge chairs. All your kitchenware is provided for you! We provide a small assortment of spices as well. On the lower lawn, steps from your barrel, we have set up a propane campfire for evenings of lounging and quiet chats. You also have access to our hot tub, to enjoy on starry or moonlit evenings.
