Amazing beach views to Moreton Island in this redecorated compact 2 bedroom town house. It’s set high on a hill overlooking Home Beach and at the end of a quiet cull de sac The upper floor with sea views from every door and window, has a lounge, kitchen and dining room and a covered deck There’s 2 comfortable queen sized beds and a single on the lower floor. There’s a grassy area for kiddies play and an undercover carport. The beach and hotel are within walking distance (uphill back) The space StAndrews by The Sea is a shared property containing 2 self contained town houses (Straddie Getaway)and a family home all with their own separate areas. The driveway is shared. Unit 1 (Straddie Getaway) is recently redecorated and has panoramic amazing views to Moreton island and beyond from the upper floor. The small cosy living room has a comfy 3 seater couch with 2 arm chairs with” sink into”feather cushions and the dining room has ample seating for a crowd. The kitchen is well equiped for all your needs and meals can be prepared at the bench while gazing over the sea beyond. A smart Tv with internet allows for access to favourite shows and Netflix ( using your own account) For morning coffee on the deck an Aldi coffee maker is provided but only takes Aldi pods ( purchase prior to stay). The covered deck is a great place for whale watching or having a bbq, reading a book, enjoying a few bubbles watching the setting sun. While no air conditioning is provided throughout the unit, the sea breezes provide exceptional coolness. There are no screens upstairs so as not to impede the scenic vista. Downstairs the 2 spacious bedrooms have 2 comfy queen beds and a single which is ideal for couples or small families Ceiling fans are also installed in both bedrooms and both bedrooms are screened for security and privacy. There’s a small private tropical balcony off the main bedroom to sit and ponder. The bathroom has one toilet and a full sized bath ( for children) with over bath shower. A compact laundry is also on the lower floor. The small paved back courtyard is enclosed and there’s a small grassed side garden ( unfenced). The unit is tiled throughout and so easy to maintain during a holiday stay. There’s a covered carport and outside grassed area for kiddies to play. The beach and hotel are a short stroll down the hill but need “strong legs” for the return walk. There is an allocated space in the carport for parking or cars can be parked on the grass by the Wheelie Bins or roadside. Guest access St Andrew’s By The Sea is a wonderful, shared quiet holiday setting that has 2 self contained town houses and a family home. Unit 1(Straddie Getaway) is closest to the road and has wonderful amazing views over Home Beach and beyond There are designated spaces for each dwelling tho the driveway is shared. Each dwelling is very private and self contained to ensue a great stay for all. A self check in key safe lock is located outside the front door and a code is given just prior to arrival Other things to note BOOKINGS MADE DURING EASTER AND XMAS SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ARE A MINIMUM OF 1 WEEK As it’s a shared holiday venue respect towards other guests staying on the property is essential. This involves : * Keeping noise levels to accepted standards especially after 10pm at night * Using allocated car spaces and not leaving parked cars in the driveway or blocking access for others. * Only 5 guests and minimising visitors * Grassed areas allocated for the Unit 1 is roadside beside the unit for children’s play * Vehicles with high roof structure may need to be parked roadside NB. LOW CARPORT ROOF!!!!! ### Remember to book the car ferry early as weekend and peak times get booked out Grassed area in front of the house may be used for young children’s play but please be respectful to others sharing the property particularly tenants in house.
