The Guesdons Barn

Stone barn, renovated and equipped, on enclosed grounds with 2 private parking spaces, sleeping 6 guests. Sheets and towels (bath/pool) provided. Beds made upon your arrival. The Barn offers a large pool (4x8 m) / terrace shared with the owners, a hot tub and many outdoor games. You will find all the modern comforts and the tranquility of the countryside just a few minutes from Bayeux and the D-Day landing beaches. The space On a property of about 2,500 m² that includes the owners' residence, you will find your accommodation: La Grange des Guesdons, about 130 m², with 3 levels: - The ground floor of approximately 95 m²: living room (25 m²) overlooking the terrace/garden/hot tub, master suite (approximately 20 m²) with shower room and separate toilet overlooking the garden, fully equipped open kitchen, dining room and bar with full ceiling height, laundry room with dryer, bathroom, and separate toilet. - The 2nd floor is a mezzanine with 2 closed bedrooms. - The 2nd floor has a games room with a TV and DVD player. The outdoor area features a large 80 m² terrace with a private hot tub (closed seasonally from September 30 to April 30) under a pergola, a table, a charcoal BBQ, a parasol, and a storage box for the garden furniture cushions. There is also a lovely swimming pool (shared with the owners) open from May to the end of September (seasonally closed from September 30 to April 30) and a large wooded garden with a swing set for children and teenagers. Private parking for two cars, equipped with electrical outlets. All in a setting secured by an electric gate. Outdoor cameras secure the site. Linens are provided, as well as pool towels. - DOGS AND OTHER PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED - NO PERSON NOT STAYING AT THE COTTAGE OR INCLUDED IN THE RESERVATION IS ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. PARTIES AND OTHER EVENTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. ANY VIOLATION OF EITHER OF THESE TWO RULES WILL RESULT IN YOUR IMMEDIATE REPORTING TO THE AIRBNB PLATFORM. We can offer a private chef service under certain conditions (see conditions at the time of booking). Guest access the accommodation is totally private. Other things to note No parties are allowed on site. Only guests who have booked through Airbnb can stay at La Grange. The cottage is designed to accommodate 6 people! We do not allow additional guests. Any breach of these rules will result in you being reported to the Airbnb platform!
