Shangrila is a warm and cozy ski chalet style home with a loft, two bedrooms, and a brand new bathroom. You can warm yourself by the fieldstone fireplace and relax or barbecue on the spacious deck overlooking the Catskill mountains! All seasons have their beauty: Fall foliage, Winter Skiing, Spring hiking, Summer swimming. Note: In Winter, you need a 4 Wheel drive vehicle to go up our road. AREAS OFF LIMITS Do not go in area underneath the deck & the step near the shed. See orange tape there. The space Our home has the following: A living room: Field stone fireplace, a large couch and two chairs, a large granite dining table with 6 cushioned chairs Kitchen area: A refrigerator, an electric stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, & toaster Two bedrooms: The pink room has one queen sized bed The blue room has a trundle bed that can be one or two beds (let us know ahead of time) The loft: King sized bed with two single beds if desired (let us know ahead of time) The deck: Wraps around the house from front door to the shed on the opposite side of the house, 2 charcoal grill barbecues Wifi Privacy: Off private dirt road. Guest access All areas of the house and surrounding property are accessible except for the area underneath the deck and the side step which are roped off. Other things to note Coming to Shangrila in the winter? Since we are located on a dirt road, you will need a Four-wheel drive car to access the house. Even though the road will be plowed, you will need that for easy driving. We have a Subaru Forester and that kind of car is perfect.
