Perfect for beach lovers, with 180Mb wifi! This airy, laid-back penthouse duplex apartment, on the 3rd & 4th floors, has sensational ocean views and is just 10 steps from Porto da Barra beach, the most beautiful and LIVELIEST beach in Brazil with a PERFECT SUNSET EVERY DAY! Huge living area, 3 double beds, 3 bathrooms, aircon, rooftop bbq and hottub, perfect for entertaining guests and taking selfies. Secure building, safe & lively neighborhood full of restaurants, 5 minutes from the Carnaval. The space When you come in, you have a huge living area with fully equipped kitchen (airfryer, microwave, gas stove and oven, toaster-oven, blender, enormous fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine) and guest toilet/sink, laundry area with 13kg washing machine, 2 ensuite airconditioned double bedrooms (on this floor, one bathroom has shower, sink and toilet, the other bathroom has shower and sink and you use the toilet of the living room) next to the living area. There is a 50 inch flatscreen smart TV in one of the bedrooms - the one with the sofabed so it's perfect for people to watch TV with the airconditioning on. You can also add a couple of mattresses for 2 extra guests in the enormous living area. and there is a hammock and beautiful leather sofa for extra relaxation under the ceiling fans. The two bedrooms have blackout curtains for almost total darkness at night, and the living area has beautiful wooden blinds which keep out most of the light. To go up, you have a beautiful spiral staircase up to the huge roof terrace with its double air-conditioned bedroom with blackout curtains and a ceiling fan, separate toilet with indoor shower, outdoor shower, outdoor sink for washing hands, food preparation area with sink for dishes, bbq, hammock, hottub, 2 dining tables and a state of the art beer fridge/freezer. We also offer use of a Phillips Party Speaker (bluetooth, 1600W) as well as a large cooler for ice/cold drinks etc for parties. INTERNET AND WORKING FROM HOME There is high speed fibre internet throughout the apartment (using a mesh system so you only need one wifi login) and we have a Starlink internet connection as a backup to ensure our guests are never without internet. For guests who need to work, there is a small desk in the rooftop bedroom and also in the living room. There is also lots of room to work at the dining table or the kitchen counter in the living room, or at the dining table outside - but under cover - on the rooftop). BABIES For guests travelling with babies, we can offer a small travel cot ( upon request). CORAL REEF, SNORKELLING/DIVING We can also offer 2 sets of snorkel and masks, to enjoy the coral reefs which are just there as you get to the beach. You can leave the apartment and be swimming with fish (and sometimes turtles) in under 60 seconds. There are also several dive shops within a 2 minute walk where you can rent scuba equipment or take diving trips/courses, open 7 days a week. The water is warm all year round. BATHROOMS In total, this property has 3 toilets, 3 hot showers, 1 outdoor unheated rooftop shower, 4 sinks for washing hands (cold water only). Guest access You can use the entire apartment, it's 2 floors. There are 2 security gates to get into the building from the street, a third security gate to go up the stairs, and a 4th security gate which goes to this penthouse apartment (you will have keys for the first 3 gates and a code for the 4th gate). This is great as it means you will be totally safe in the apartment, you can even leave the apartment door open during the day for extra ventilation. The building has security cameras in the lobby and in the communal stairwell but, for your own privacy, there are no cameras inside the apartment.
