We are conveniently located approximately 40 minutes from Managua’s international airport, Augusto C. Sandino International Airport, making arrival and departure easy and stress-free. From the property, guests can enjoy walkable access to nearby destinations, including a 40-minute walk to Catarina, a 15-minute walk to El Mirador de San Juan de Oriente, and a 15-minute walk to Diriá. The area also offers multiple hiking trails leading to Laguna de Apoyo, such as Sendero El Caballito, La Pila de San Juan, and other scenic paths ideal for nature lovers. Our unique and exclusive property is private and secluded, offering the feeling of being immersed in a lush jungle setting while still enjoying all the comforts of home. While you may find yourself wanting to relax and enjoy the magic of the villa, you’re also perfectly located to explore nearby attractions such as Granada, the Masaya Volcano at night, the Isletas of Granada, and Volcán Mombacho. Other things to note Please note that guests are responsible for bringing their own food. Grocery shopping can easily be done on your way from Managua, with well-stocked supermarkets available in both Masaya and Granada (La Colonia, La Unión, and Pali). Local open markets are also nearby and are best visited earlier in the day. Along the route to the house, you will find several small pulperías offering basic items such as water, eggs, milk, and other essentials. We’ll always have coffee ready for you to enjoy upon arrival. For added convenience and a more relaxing stay, private chef services are available upon request, allowing you to enjoy freshly prepared meals in the comfort of the villa. Transportation services can also be arranged upon request, including airport transfers and local excursions. We also offer horseback riding experiences brought directly to your doorstep, where horses arrive at the villa and a local guide accompanies you on scenic tours down to the Laguna de Apoyo and back to the villa a truly unforgettable experience immersed in nature. Please note that chef services, transportation, horseback riding, and tour experiences are scheduled in advance and paid separately, directly to the individuals providing these services. We are located within a nature preserve, and as such, you may encounter insects during your stay. Food left uncovered or spills may attract them, so we kindly ask guests to be mindful. There is a dog (Linda) on the property who helps care for and protect the home when it is unoccupied. Upon arrival, she will be on a leash. Once introduced by the caretaker, you will find her to be friendly, gentle, and devoted to protecting both you and the property. She typically sleeps near the main entrance.
