La Vallée Verte - Girault de Prangey Suite

The Vallée Verte is located south of Haute-Marne, at the crossroads of Champagne, Burgundy and Franche-Comté, in a small peaceful village of 75 inhabitants. Ideally located for a stop in the middle of a long journey or to spend a few days discovering the region's assets. The Vallée Verte has 5 guest rooms in a stately home dating from 1586, with all modern comforts in a harmoniously preserved setting. The space The Girault de Prangey Suite is located on the first floor of the house (staircase). It consists of the bedroom, a private living room and a private bathroom. You have a beautiful view of the terrace and garden in any season. It is perfect for a couple (bed 160 x 200 cm) (Possibility of an extra bed for a child, extra charge. Consult me first.) - 1st floor, 50 m2 - double bed (160 x 200 cm) - separate private living room - private bathroom and toilet - breakfast included - dogs/cats not allowed - dinner option at the Table d'hôtes: by reservation, ask me! Guest access The entrance is through the garden gate that leads to the terrace behind the house. On the ground floor, a common lounge area and dining room (Table d'hôtes, by reservation). When the weather permits, meals are served on the terrace. The garden is accessible to guests who can rest there, play petanque, discover the chickens and their chicks... During your stay I am usually on site, so it is easy to find me: in the garden or in my workshop during the day, then in the kitchen from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Finally, as the property is large, I rarely leave my phone, please feel free to call me. Other things to note = Breakfast and dinner = By definition of the bed and breakfast, breakfast is included in the rate and I live on site with my family. I also offer dinner on site. At 7 p.m., all guests who wish to do so meet and get to know each other around the table d'hôtes, the opportunity for beautiful international encounters! Every evening, I offer a 4-course menu (starter, main course, local cheeses, dessert), entirely prepared on site. For organizational reasons, it is necessary to book in advance. Please let me know if you have any allergies so I can adapt the menu. Price: €35/person, excluding drinks, to be paid on site = Art Lover = Please feel free to visit my workshop/gallery during your stay. I will be happy to talk about paintings and sculptures. In addition, if the duration of your stay allows it, it would be possible to practice together (lessons, initiation...) or to come back during an artistic workshop (several days, in a group).
