La Vallée Verte - Girault de Prangey Suite

La Vallée Verte is located in the south of the Haute-Marne, at the crossroads of Champagne, Burgundy and Franche-Comté, in a small, peaceful village of 75 inhabitants. It is ideally situated for a stopover in the middle of a long journey or to spend a few days discovering the riches of the region. We have 5 rooms in a stately home dating from 1586, with all modern comforts in a harmoniously preserved setting. The space The Girault de Prangey Suite is located on the first floor of the house (staircase). It comprises a bedroom, a private lounge and a private bathroom. You have a beautiful view of the terrace and garden in all seasons. It is ideal for a couple (160x200 cm bed). (Possibility of an extra bed for a child, extra, please contact me first). - 1st floor, 50 m2 - double bed (160 x 200 cm) - separate private lounge - private bathroom and WC - breakfast included - dog/cat not accepted - dinner option at the Table d'hôtes: please ask for a reservation! Guest access The entrance is via the garden gate that leads to the terrace behind the house. On the ground floor, there is a communal lounge area and the dining room (Table d'hôtes, by prior arrangement). Weather permitting, meals are served on the terrace. The garden is open to travellers, who can relax, play pétanque or discover the hens and their chicks... During your stay I'm usually on site, so it's easy to find me: in the garden or in my workshop during the day, then in the kitchen from 5-5.30pm. Finally, as the property is large, the telephone rarely leaves my side, so don't hesitate to give me a call. Other things to note = Breakfast and dinner = By definition, breakfast is included in the price and I live on site with my family. I also offer an evening meal on site. At 7pm, all the guests who wish to do so come together and get to know each other around the table d'hôtes, a great opportunity to meet new people from all over the world! Each evening I offer a 4-course menu (starter, main course, local cheeses and dessert), prepared entirely on site. For organisational reasons, please book in advance. Please let me know if you have any allergies so that I can adapt the menu. Price: 35€/person, excluding drinks, to be paid on the spot = Art lovers = Please feel free to visit my studio/gallery during your stay. I'd be delighted to talk to you about paintings and sculptures. What's more, if the length of your stay allows it, it would be possible to practise together (lessons, initiation, etc.) or to come back for an art course (several days, in a group). During the summer, Nathalie can offer you piano lessons (all levels).
