Sunny summer house with lake property in Stockholm Archipelago

Welcome to Södermöja in the middle of the Stockholm archipelago with proximity to restaurants & shops on a nearby island. It is easy to get here by Waxholmsbåt, your own boat or boat taxi. Here is our nice cottage with kitchen, bathroom & 3 bedrooms on a large lake plot with beautiful sunsets. Swim from the cliffs or the beach. A house for meals by the water is included where you can sit inside or outside. Jetty with berths. Boat for rent, recommended for easy transportation during the stay. Warm welcome! Peter & Anna The space The cottage has a wonderful sea view from the kitchen with dining area for 4 people. Good standard kitchen with fridge & freezer, stovetop, oven, microwave, hand blender, coffee maker and toaster. The bathroom is spacious and has a shower, combustion toilet and underfloor heating. Hall with plenty of hanging space for outerwear. Large bedroom with comfortable double bed and good storage as well as reading corner with armchairs. In addition, there are two bedrooms with bunk beds and thick mattresses for a good night's sleep. A newly-renovated large and spacious house by the water is included with fantastic views where you can enjoy a lovely dinner even if it would be a bit chilly. A gas grill is available, allowing you to enjoy a dinner while watching the sun set in the sea. Internet coverage is good on the island and it is possible to share the Internet. Guest access All spaces can be used except for 1 cabinet in the kitchen and the dresser in the bedroom. Other things to note Minimum rental period 7 nights. When booking 2 - 3 weeks, a 10% discount is given on the 2nd and 3rd week. Check-in and check-out on Sundays. We make sure the times fit with the Waxholm boats. To Södermöja, you will either come by your own boat and moor at our jetty or by Waxholmsbåt, which departs from Strömkajen at Grand Hotel in central Stockholm or from Sollenkroka in Värmdö, where the bus goes or the car can be parked. From Waxholmsbryggan on Södermöja, it is about a 10-minute/1-km walk to the house on gravel road and paths. You can also take Möja boat taxi directly to our jetty. You can either book the taxi boat yourself or take one of their regular tours. Please contact us for more information. Our jetty is large and has room for a total of 9 boats, of which 5 berths belong to our neighbors who also have the right to walk the path at the edge of our plot down to the jetty. Södermöja is a 3 km long island in the outer Stockholm archipelago and is located just south of Möja. What separates the two islands is a narrow strait called Möjaström. Södermöja is a car-free island but there is a gravel road that stretches from north to south. In addition to lovely cliffs and beautiful sea views, there are large forest areas for those who enjoy hiking and picking blueberries, lingonberries and mushrooms. Food and even beer can be bought at Coop on the neighboring island of Möja. Search for Coop Berg-Möja on FB for opening hours. Wine, spirits and a larger range of beer can be ordered to Coop Möja via Systembolaget's website 5 days before pick-up. Möja also has restaurants, a bakery and a cinema. Food can also be ordered directly to our jetty via Mathem during the summer months. If you have your own boat or rent ours, you can take it to get to Möja. The ferry also goes to Möja several times a day. An almost new boat with steering wheel and 40 hp engine that takes 4 people is available to rent. Some boating experience is required. Price SEK 500/day for the boat. Any damage to the boat or engine is paid on departure. Life jackets for adults & children are available to borrow. Bed linen + shower towel can be rented for SEK 200/set/rental period. Mandatory final cleaning costs 1500 SEK and is paid upon arrival.
