100-year-old Traditional Antique Museum House

Kogeya, a 100-year-old pure Japanese house in the center of Miyazu City You can experience old-fashioned Japanese living with antique folk tools, stair drawers, and a Nagamochi (a marriage tool for storing futons, etc.). Standing behind Waki Shrine, the shrine's prayers quietly echo. Beyond that is the Catholic Miyazu Church, one of the oldest wooden churches in Japan, which was designated as a national important cultural property in January 2024. 8-minute walk (600 m) from Miyazu station, 5 minutes to the sea. There is a supermarket, a convenience store, and a coin laundry within a 5-minute walk. It is a very privileged location, 15 minutes by bicycle to Amanohashidate, one of Japan's three most scenic views. At the end of the pine tree lined road is the famous power spot "Moto-Ise Kado Shrine and Manai Shrine". You can reach Ine's boat house in about 1 hour by bus from the city hall for 400 yen each way. Because it is an old house, the house is not very airtight. In winter, it is equipped with heating appliances, so you can withstand the cold, but the walls with the neighbors are thin. Please do not make loud voices or sounds, especially at night. Please refrain from staying with children under 10 years old because the furniture and household goods are old. English is supported. Please feel free to ask. The space This 100 year old house keeps its original facilities as much as possible and exhibits old furnitures some of which need to be left untouched.
