The property has a small patio area which is for the private use of guests. Guest access The Summer House sits on a small Mound in our garden at Lower Maypole Cottage. We are obscured by hedging so visibility from Mayple Lane is limited but we are white and red brick cottage, with a tile roof. The Summer House is accessible via the front of our house via the path from the white front gate. Head towards our front door then turn left along the side of the our house and you will come to 4 steps that take you down and alllow you to continue towards the garden and lead to a patio area. From here you should see the summer house the the left. Walk towards the end of the patio and there is a small rose arch that leads to a path through the garden and up to the property. Please note the access is via the garden so you will need to walk through the grass to complete the way up to the summer house about 15 meters, there are stone slabs that pave the way and rustic grass steps cut into mound leading up to your accommodation but in the winter if it has been a bit wet this can become a little muddy and it may be useful to have wellies 😊 Other things to note Please note the summer house does not have WiFi or cooking facilities so is not a really a self catering property. There is a kettle & small counter top fridge & tea & coffee are provided. We are sometimes able to offer parking on our driveway but cannot guarantee this, there is a free village car park located within a few minutes walk of us. You are able to park up temporarily to drop your belongings. This is a “rustic” property in our garden, you will need to walk through the garden/ grass for about 15 meters before you hit the patio area, when you are coming & going please bear this in mind. We no longer accept guests with dogs as we have found it to be too disruptive with our own 2 dogs. Our dogs are very small, and love people & do roam freely around our garden, if you are not keen on dogs please consider if this is right for you.
