The space The property was formerly an old windmill to grind the grain produced in the countryside around Cortona. The oldest part of the structure even dates back to the early 1400s, and in the past this typical farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside was part of the Palazzone estate owned by Cortonese nobles. The farmhouse consists of two stone houses finely restored in perfect Tuscan style with original wooden ceilings and terracotta tiles and fine terracotta floors. The facilities are equipped with every comfort, while still respecting the classic style of the country farmhouse in Tuscany, so that guests can spend comfortable vacations in Tuscany with that extra touch of authenticity. Guest access ACCOMMODATION: The farmhouse can accommodate a total of 10 people and is therefore suitable for large families or groups of friends who wish to spend a pleasant vacation a few steps from Cortona. The first unit can accommodate up to 6 people (140 m2) and is spread over two floors: living/dining room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with sink made of pietra serena as in the tradition of old Tuscan houses, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with bathtub. On the lower level are a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. These two rooms also have an independent entrance. The second unit can accommodate up to 4 people (90 m2): large living/dining room with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen, double bedroom with next door bathroom with shower, twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. All rooms and the two living rooms in the two units have heating and air conditioning. A naturalized water dispenser is available to guests use. Mosquito nets available in windows (not in doors). Breakfasts, dinners and pizza parties can be organized in the villa upon request. GARDEN AND SWIMMING POOL: Private swimming pool exclusive use of the guests (12 x 6 meters, depth: 1.2 - 2 meters) in a panoramic position and fully fenced for the safety of children. There is also a solarium area with sunbeds and deckchairs, outdoor tables for outdoor dining, barbecue and pizza oven, large relaxation areas and bocce court. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Featuring typical Tuscan terraces for growing olive trees, the farmhouse is sun-kissed most of the year. The large garden with wild plants and flowers that surrounds it is accompanied by a small vegetable garden where you can pick aromatic plants and seasonal vegetables.
