Escape to the serene 'Little River Cabin,' a retreat nestled on a private one-acre meadow along the picturesque Mendocino Coast. The cabin provides a quaint yet contemporary experience with all the comforts of home including a plush king size bed, a cozy fireplace and patio overlooking the forest. The space The Cabin is a perfectly sized one-bedroom, one-bathroom home. Walking in the front door, you’re greeted with a welcoming living room and fireplace for gazing out on the meadow. The plush couch can also serve as an extra bed with sheets and a pillow. We offer a full dining table to seat four guests and a desk overlooking an apple tree, blossoming with white flowers in the spring and tasty fruit in the fall. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready for home-cooked feasts, including a Bosch fridge, gas range, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and Breville toaster oven. Enjoy the counter seating, allowing for breakfast ease or as a casual place to gather. The bedroom is resplendent with natural light. At your disposal are a closet, bench, and luggage rack as well as side tables with charging ports. We’ve provided robes, slippers and natural bath products for your luxurious weekend moments. The bathroom has double sinks with lighted vanity and a shower. The area Located only a three-minute walk from the cabin is the famous Mendocino Coast "blow hole” park. We encourage you to take in this natural wonder before continuing another few yards to spectacular ocean views. Walk or take a one-minute drive to Little River Inn for delicious local food and to enjoy their oceanview cocktail bar during sunset, as well as to explore Van Damme State Park Beach and hiking trails. Drive five-minutes north on Highway-1 to find boutiques, Victorian charm, Headlands trails, and restaurants in the historic-preserved town of Mendocino, CA. Guest access We encourage you to relax outside on the porch or hang out in our spacious one acre yard surrounding the house. Other things to note Though we love pets, we don’t allow them on the property. This property is meant to be a peaceful retreat for you and the owners and neighbors who live here, so we ask that you minimize loud noise and honor quiet hours between 10pm and 8am, or 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights.
