Our cabin was originally built in 1928. We restored it over a five year period, using repurposed wood throughout. The wood burning stove downstairs in the living and dining area are large spaces for gathering and visiting after a hike in Lassen or biking along the meadow. Upstairs has two bedrooms and a bathroom, downstairs has a bedroom and bathroom. On the back deck, there is a large outdoor dining and lounge area. The water is safe and good to drink rink, no need to bring bottled water! The space Water is good to drink from the tap. No need for bottled water. Keeping the windows open a bit to cool down the cabin at night and close them in the morning to keep it cool if it is hot. The speakers downstairs are set up on sonos, download the app to use them, they are very nice. Please use with care. Please wipe shoes or remove them if convenient. Bikes and toys are in the shed for your use. Playground and basketball court is down the street for your use. Please keep shed door closed and bikes inside when not on property. Other things to note There is a possibility to rent out our other cabin next door for larger family gatherings. It has 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. There is a great swimming hole about 5 minutes from the cabin. Head West on 36 (back towards red bluff) take right just before Battle Creek bridge (about 1 mile) then quick left on dirt road along Creek. Go slow on this road, tons of potholes and park in second turn out (after second speed bump) where yellow small sign is on left and walk down trail to swimming holes (summertime)
