Welcome to the Woodland Tree House. Our most adventurous theme cottage is fifteen feet off the ground, surrounded by century old pine trees. Inside experience old world craftsmanship. The hot tub, carved out of the surrounding rock, is lined with Italian marble. Climb the spiral staircase up into the bedroom loft. The hand carved queen sized bed is one-of-a-kind. You are now 24 feet off the ground, and you can see clear across the lake to Fawnskin. The space Welcome to the Castle Wood Romantic Theme Cottages, a truly unique lodging experience located in a quiet setting near the Village of Big Bear Lake, just minutes away from the ski slopes and marinas. We provide the ideal Southern California romantic getaway for two. Rekindle the romance in one of our remarkable romantic cabins. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the cottage's Jacuzzi tub, warmed by the glow of a fireplace. Guest access Stroll around the courtyard. Have a meal in the common area Gazebo. Play a round of Table Tennis. Relax and swing in the courtyard Garden Swing. Enjoy the tinkling sound of the waterfall. Other things to note Our office/Boutique is located on the corner of Main St & Big Bear Blvd, adjacent to the property. Hours are from 10am-6pm. If arriving after 6pm, please give us a call for self-check-in instructions. All cottages are NON-SMOKING ROOMS. Violation of this policy will incur a violation fee of $250.00 Late check out (2pm) is allowed (depending on availability) for a charge of $30.00.
