The keywords for our Guesthouse are nature, design, coziness and privacy. It is a space to relax, unwind, get offline, connect with nature, yourself/ each other in peace and quiet and complete privacy. It is styled to slow down, kick back and leave the outdoor world outside and truly get that vacation mode on. The space The space: When you enter through the monumental door of this renovated and upgraded stable from 1753, a fresh, cozy vibe will make you feel right at home. The guesthouse is a studio, with a spacious outdoor area. It is a space to relax, unwind, get offline, connect with nature and yourself in peace and quiet en privacy. It is styled to slow down, kick back and leave the outdoor world outside and truly get that vacation mode on. The building itself is a monumental building from 1753, which we renovated to what it is now; a cozy, vacation studio, with everything easy and within hand-reach. It used to be a stable back in the day, which belonged to the main plantation house. We designed, created and styled the Guesthouse ourselves with fun, dedication, care and love, for your comfort. A lot is custom made, some up-cycled and chosen with much eye for detail for that unique and one-of-a-kind experience and mindfulness, sustainability and preservation in mind. It is an open-door space, where indoor- and outdoor melt with each other, with a constant, fresh breeze passing through. The outdoor area is designed and styled to lounge and enjoy home cooked meals. The porch offers an outdoor living room with views into nature and your private garden, next to the private plunge pool. Inside the studio is an open kitchen with all the basic comfort you need to prepare your meals, so you are not obligated to go out. It also has a bar to have breakfast of as a working space. It has a 4 pit gas stove, an electric oven, Nespresso coffee machine, a watercooker and bread toaster for slow and long breakfasts, late lunches and easy dinners. The fridge has a cooling and freezer departement. The guesthouse is a studio with airconditioning, ceiling fan. Connected to the sleeping area, there is the bathroom with a spacious rain shower, toilet and sink. The double bed is comfortable with semi orthopedic mattresses, with a topper, covered with a mosquito net. The Guesthouse has its own, private garden connected to the porch. It has an outside dinging area (with a table grill), custom made couches next to the pool to chill and lounge. Behind the plunge pool is a hammock area- perfect to read a book or to do a little nap. In the garden there are 2 sun loungers, to enjoy the sun and get that tan. Pool: The shallow plunge pool (opmetennnn) is ideal to cool off with a glass of wine and to relax. It is surrounded by flora and fauna and the chirping of the birds will automatically reconnect you with nature. The Guesthouse is located on the property of Landhuis des Bouvrie, where we, the owners, also live and love to share this romantic slice of paradise with you. All outside of the hectic, touristic areas and a bit off the beaten track. The most beautiful, natural beaches and nature reserves are all on this side of the island. The nearest beach is only 10 minutes away by car and a supermarket, pharmacy, general practice, gas station and little bakery can be found less then 5 minutes away by car in the little neighborhood Tera Corá.
