This is an amazing suite for you to enjoy your time in Grenada! All newly refurbished, with 2 bedrooms with en suite facilities in a ground floor location! Enjoy your own private terrace to eat dinner, read or work as you listen to the ocean. The suite contains a comfortable sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfortable supportive mattresses ensuite bathrooms with a walk in shower to give you all the comforts of home! Each room contains a wardrobe, desk and chair for your convenience. Kayaks are available for you to use, free of charge! *There is some construction on the property M-F 8AM - 4PM You will have the entire ground suite to yourself. The laundry area is accessible just up the stairs from the driveway. Washer, dryer and a place to hang your laundry if you prefer. Everything that you need is included in the suite! I am close by if you need any help with anything during your stay. I am very involved with the community so I am often very busy in other parts of the island. But if there is anything that you need, just text me and I will get back to you as soon as possible, usually within an hour. If it’s something urgent, I will answer your call promptly! You can find a guest Welcome Book on my Airbnb site which tells you places to visit and also something about the local customs - but I'm happy to help with any questions you may have! There is also a booklet with information in your suite you can look at on your arrival. Lance Aux Epine is very quiet. Forming one of the “fingers” of Southern Grenada, the beach access is varied and plentiful, with marinas aplenty. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance, mostly beach fronted. One of these, the Calabash, hosts the Rhodes Restaurant - amazing for foodies! Lance Aux Epines boasts its own craft brewery, where you can see the brewing process and sample many beers as tasters before settling down to good music at night. There is a local market held at the Craft Brewery on Sunday morning, where you can buy local, fresh produce and a variety of small gifts and clothing items. There is a dive and sailboat hire on the beach nearby. Everyone is friendly in Lance Aux Epines and you will meet local people, those sailing in and staying at the marina as well as people from St George’s University, which is situated here. Dogs are on leashes or properly controlled. There are no chickens running around or roosters crowing at 4:00 am :) Lance Aux Epines can be reached by taxi or by bus. It is also around a 20 minute ride to the Capital, St George’s. Taxi takes around 10 minutes from Grand Anse and costs around $10 US. The bus service in Grenada runs with many independent mini buses running the routes all over the island. There aren’t really bus stops - you just wave down a bus - or often they will stop as you’re walking and ask if you would like to hop on! It costs around $1 US to Grand Anse. You can hire a car also - it’s not complicated, but you will need to get a local driving licence from the Police Station in Grand Anse, which costs around $20 US. Once you have that, it costs around $50 US per day for car hire. The Welcome Book I created on Airbnb has more information on Getting Around. There may be some construction at the rear of the property that may create some noise between 8 am and 4 pm Monday - Friday. There are spaces for car parking if you wish to rent a car during your stay - please let me know on booking if you will be hiring a car. The beach is across the road and my location is in easy walking distance to several restaurants, accessed from the beach. You may want to be picked up from the Airport by Perry, my recommended taxi driver. The charge for Airport pick up only is $20.00 USD.
