Relax in this unique and quiet accommodation. This old small barn (bought by a shepherdess ;), has been rehabilitated into a house in an ecological way. This is the house I live in, and I can let you stay for a while. It is located at the end of a field with absolutely incredible views of the Ecrins mountains!! The top entrance offers you a beautiful main room with the entrance then the kitchen/living room and the bedroom is downstairs under the vaults. The space This is an old stone house renovated in a fairly ecological way. Autonomous in electricity, it is the photovoltaic panels that provide all the necessary electricity (lights, fridge, freezer, usual outlets etc.), a gas water heater provides hot water, a phyto-purification manages wastewater, and the water network arrives there for tap water. The main room is upstairs. Next to the entrance is the bathroom, then you have a large open room with the kitchen and dining table and at the bottom the living room and office area facing the large windows and the superb view of the mountains! A spiral staircase leads to the bottom of the house under the vaults where there is a laundry/basement area and 2 bedrooms (but you will only have access to one of the 2, the one with a double bed, a window and a door that overlooks the outside facing the bottom garden). The house is located at the end of an organically cultivated field and was built on sloping land, which explains the 2 possible entrances, from the top or from the bottom, like many old houses in our region. You have access to a large garden, about 2000 m2 around the house with a small orchard and vegetable garden areas. Another wilder plot at the back of the house on the other side of the access track, houses a small spring with bathtub, + large trees, hammocks, a tree house and genets galore. It is on this plot that we have recently placed a caravan so that we can stay there when necessary. So we may be your neighbors from time to time :) The house is not quite finished yet and not suitable for small children, sorry.
