🌿 Hrách a Lusk (Pea &Pod) is a cozy A-frame cabin in the forest overlooking Hracholusky Reservoir, with beautiful water views, a terrace and private dock. Ideal for couples, friends or a peaceful nature escape. 🌊 Enjoy swimming, exploring or evenings by the wood stove. 💧 Due to prolonged drought, the cabin currently operates semi-off-grid: electricity is available, but running water isn’t guaranteed. We provide an initial water supply. The space 🌲 The cabin is set on a hillside above the reservoir. Parking is uphill, and from there it is about a 50-metre walk downhill to the cabin along a natural path and steps. We recommend travelling light and wearing comfortable shoes. 🏡 Inside, there are stairs up to the sleeping loft and stairs from the living area down to the bathroom in the basement. The cabin is best suited for guests who feel comfortable with stairs and slopes. It is not ideal for small children; we do not recommend it for children under 12. 💧 During the current semi-off-grid period, water is supplied in jerry cans rather than relying on the normal running-water system. The rainwater barrel can provide an additional supply when weather conditions allow. 🌊 The private dock is reached by another 50–70 metres of steeper steps down towards the water. Swimming is possible in summer, but this is a natural reservoir, so water quality can vary depending on weather, algae, and current conditions. 🚣 A rowing boat may be available as a paid extra by prior arrangement. Use depends on weather, water conditions, and following the safety rules. Guest access 🏡 Guests have access to the whole cabin, terrace, and private dock by the water. Parking is uphill above the cabin. Other things to note 💧 Water: Due to prolonged drought and low groundwater levels in the area, running water is currently not guaranteed. We provide an initial water supply in jerry cans and separate drinking water. A 300 L rainwater barrel provides additional non-potable water when there has been enough rain. If necessary, jerry cans can be refilled approximately 15–20 minutes away by car. 🌊 Swimming: You can swim directly from the private dock. Water conditions naturally vary depending on weather and season. There is also a beach approximately 500 m away and other swimming areas around the reservoir. 🔥 Heating: The cabin is heated with a wood-burning stove. Firewood and an axe for splitting smaller pieces are available on the property.
