5 miles off the tar road on a working organic farm deep in the Dyfi forest on the southern border of Snowdonia/Eryri National Park, Eco Retreats is a very remote, off-grid, wifi-free forest retreat. Ancient Celtic rainforest, sparkling river, stunning starry skies far away from the city lights. Minimal phone signal for complete digital detox! Slow down, get back to basics and forget about the stresses and strains of modern day living as you reconnect with nature, each other and yourself. The space Across the 1300 acre farm, we offer only 3 private eco retreats spread over 50 acres to maintain your privacy and the beauty and tranquillity of the environment. Sleep soundly in our beautiful and completely secluded Mongolian yurts with huge windows to let in the forest views, wood-burning stove and cooking facilities. Outside you’ll find your private outdoor wood-fired bath, fresh springwater showers and campfire cooking area. Stunning star-gazing in one of the UK's most amazing Dark Sky Reserves. Guest access The winding and beautiful drive through the forest marks the start of your eco retreat adventure. In the morning, you will awake to birdsong and the early morning mist over the trees. Days can be as quiet or as full as you like: Eco Retreats itself offers many beautiful walks and there is excellent walking and some of the best mountain biking in Wales nearby – and a host of things for the whole family to do within 30-60 minutes drive of Eco Retreats. In the evening, enjoy a hot outdoor bath, the sunset and gazing into the flames of the fire. Other things to note The yurt has a double bed and 2 single fold-out futon beds, so is most suitable for 2 adults and 2 children. (If you have more children please contact us so we can discuss!) If 4 adults would like to stay, we do charge a surcharge above the 2-person rate. To support traveling families, we offer a complimentary stay for up to two children (ages 2–12). While Airbnb's system automatically includes an extra guest fee for all guests over age 2, we will provide a partial refund for the children's portion of this fee upon booking then you can refund the amount via resolution centre.
