Bed and breakfast in Cape Charles

We rent Room 2 and Room 3; both are upstairs. Our lovely circa 1917 home - slate roof, pocket doors, 10-foot tall ceilings, covered porch - is a Weekend-Only Bed & Breakfast! $100 per night with a two (2) night minimum. We serve outstanding breakfasts! Enjoy eating in our sun-room, on the deck, or by the heated large pool! Jump into our pool! Drive 10 minutes to the Cape Charles historic shopping area and beach!! Or just hang around the house and watch the big TV in the living room. The space We rent Room 2 and Room 3, both of which are upstairs. This listing is only for Room 3. The bed is Queen sized, and the bath is ensuite (connected and private to you). The bath is single sink, combined tub/shower, and toilet. You have a closet available, as well as additional space for clothing in a 100-year-old tall wardrobe. We can also provide an additional roll-away bed (works best for a child). Guest access You have access to the 33K gallon pool, the huge deck, the sunroom, the living room, and the dining room. And, of course, your room! We also allow you to pet our dog. During your stay We live in the house... so, we follow your lead. Want to be left alone? - it is OK. Want to chat by the hour? - Bonnie is the chief speaker. Want to discuss plants? - Caryn will love you! Want to pet our dog? - Fiona will thank the heavens for you! Other things to note Our wonderful dog was with us for 14+ years, and went over the rainbow bridge in September 2024. We currently have no dog. That said, we do not accept pets. Therefore, please do not bring your dog or cat. Some guests have wondered about the Northampton County VA Jail, which is in our city of Eastville. The Jail opened in 2007 and is therefore fairly modern. The Jail is run by the Sheriff's Office, which is also in town and near our home. In our opinion, should anyone ever escape the Jail, the odds of the escapee staying near the Jail and Sheriff's Office (and therefore near our home) are very, very small. Please sleep.
