Cabin in Novato

A real log cabin just 15 minutes from wineries, the horse park and the raceway; close to beaches and SF. Three bedrooms sleep up to 7. The primary bedroom on the main floor has a king bed. The lower level has one bedroom with a queen and a twin; and another with a queen bed and a work space. One full bath on each level. Living room has vaulted ceilings & skylights; opens to a huge deck with panoramic views. Amazing sunsets! Pets ok: contact host for details on pets. The space This is an authentic log cabin perched on the crest of a hill overlooking the Petaluma river and the hills of Sonoma. The house sleeps up to 7 people. (See listing description.) The front area is enclosed patio with a seating/outdoor eating space. The large back deck is great for lounging and taking in the expansive views. There is also a back yard that is not fenced. Guest access Guests have use of the whole house, front patio, back deck, and yard. Other things to note The house is on a septic system so nothing but TP and human waste can go in the toilet. There is no central Air Conditioning, but there is a whole house fan that circulates cool air from the downstairs throughout the home. This is usually more than satisfactory to maintain comfortable temperatures inside the home even on hot days. Parking is for two cars maximum. To be allowed at the Cabin on the Hill, all pets must be: -at least one year old -house trained -spayed or neutered -obedient and calm – on and off leash -free from behavioral problems such as excessive barking or howling, chewing, scratching at/near doors and windows, hyper behavior such as jumping up. -not aggressive toward people and animals. Dog Fees: $25 pet fee per night, due after your dog/s have been approved. The reservation automatically charges $75 for the first three nights. You’ll receive a message requesting payment of any outstanding pet fees. Dog fees are not applied to extra cleaning costs or damage repairs. Dog Deposit: $250 per dog, fully refundable. Deposit will be returned within one week after check-out, less any charges for damages, extra cleaning or other pet-related costs. If issues are found after check-out, photos will be taken and shared with you to document the reason for charges. Next Steps for Pets: If your pet meets the eligibility criteria above, please inquire with the host for approval.
