Nearby driving distances to key locations: 6 minutes (2.1 miles) drive to Rocket Mortgage Field House to watch the Cavs. 4 minutes (2.1 miles) drive to Cleveland Browns Stadium. 7 minutes (2.4 miles) drive to Progressive Field to watch the Cleveland Guardians. 5 minutes (2.1 miles) drive to Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. 9 minutes (3.4 miles) drive to Playhouse Square. 4 minutes (2.4 miles) drive to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. *A minimum booking of two nights is required* Guest access CARRIAGE HOUSE INTERIOR: Entire home is available for use by guests, except for the basement. CARRIAGE HOUSE BASEMENT: Locked and off limits to guests. CARRIAGE HOUSE GRAVEL PATIO: The gravel patio area next to the Carriage House is free to use by guests. Do not climb over fences or walls into neighboring properties. SIDE YARD: The side yard is free to use, however guests are not permitted to walk in planting beds or over landscaping. The storage shed is off limits. BRICK DUPLEX: The red brick duplex in front of the Carriage House is off limits to guests. However the sidewalk next to the duplex is free to use. PARKING: There two private parking spaces in the gravel area of the side yard which are shared with the adjacent duplex. You may use any or both of these spots if they are available. Otherwise street parking is free and typically always available. We advise not to leave any valuables visible in your car while parked overnight anywhere in the City of Cleveland. Other things to note ——- HOUSE RULES AND OTHER DETAILS ——- No Pets, including emotional support animals. No parties. Max occupancy of 4 people inside the house. No excessively loud music. Keep music and sound to a reasonable level after hours so not to disturb neighbors. Keep front door closed and locked at all times. Keep black sidewalk gate closed when entering/exiting the property. Do not attempt to access the basement. Do not jump or climb fences, trees, structures and do not walk through or disturb planting beds or landscaping. WOOD FLOORS: We made a huge investment in our custom herringbone wood flooring throughout the home. Please remove your shoes in the foyer and be respectful of the wood flooring at all times. It is very difficult to replace single planks of the herringbone due to the installation pattern. Do not run, jump, or drag luggage or other abrasive objects across the wood flooring. ***WIPE UP ANY LIQUID FROM WOOD FLOORING IMMEDIATELY.*** LOFT: No more than 2 people in the loft at any time. Max weight limit in the loft of 500 lbs. LOFT STAIRS: No more than 1 person on loft stairs at any time. Max weight limit of 250 lbs. PROJECTOR: Projector is high-end 4K device. DO NOT LEAVE PROJECTOR RUNNING WHEN NOT IN USE AS IT WILL SHORTEN INTERNAL BULB LIFE. Do not touch projector or attempt to manually adjust projector, projector screen, HDMI cables or any of the devices connected to the entertainment center. For any problems, contact host directly. SOFA: Do not stand on sofa. No shoes on sofa. No sharp objects on sofa. CABINETRY: Please be respectful and gentle with customers cabinetry, cabinet doors, hardware, drawers. Do not slam, scratch, or damage. Cabinets were hand-made by local craftsmen and are expensive to repair. CANDLES: No candles or fire of any kind on the property other than owner supplied appliances (e.g. stove, BBQ grill, fire pit). STOVE: Stove is an Italian gas oven / stove top and the controls can be confusing for first timers. Please refer to the user manual for instructions or contact host. ***VENTILATION HOOD FAN MUST BE ON AT ALL TIMES WHILE COOKING OR USING STOVE*** In case of fire there is a fire blanket extinguisher under kitchen sink cabinet. Standard fore extinguisher should also be located under the sink or under the loft stairs. REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER: Please note this is a small house with 24” appliances. The refrigerator and freezer have smaller internal capacity than most common sizes. Freezer does have automatic ice maker. DIRTY DISHES / DISHWASHER: Please rinse dirty dishes and utensils in sink and place in dishwasher. ***DO NOT PLACE DISHES WITH CAKED ON FOOD PARTICLES INTO DISHWASHER***. If dishwasher is or dishes are all damp inside , leave door propped open until fully dry to prevent mold. WASHER/DRYER: Do not leave wet or damp items inside washer for more than 2-3 hours after cycle completes. ***LEAVE WASHER DOOR AND SOAP TRAY OPEN AT ALL TIMES WHILE NOT IN USE TO PREVENT MILDEW*** DRINKING WATER: Faucet water is tap. Freezer ice maker has a dedicated filter. Guests may drink the tap water or use the provided jug filter which can be refilled and kept in the fridge. BBQ GRILL: BBQ grill is shared with two other units (separate house). Always leave grill clean and ensure propane tank under grill is CLOSED after every use. Guests and tenants next door are responsible for refilling the propane tanks. ——- UNFINISHED DETAILS ——- Please excuse a few unfinished details within the house as this is a newly renovated home and there are still a few finishing touches that need completed. Bedroom double door hardware is vintage and still being finished so door does not have handles currently. If you’d like to close them, there are temporary pull tabs that you can use to re-open the doors. Thank you
