Surrounded by rolling fields with views that sweep over valleys to the hills of Exmoor on the horizon. The wooden pagoda is designed by award winning architects Rural Office. The space The architect-designed space will help you slow down and tune in to nature. The space has three elements, the dome, the wooden pagoda and the sensational gardens. The dome sits in the landscape on a floating deck, under an ancient oak tree, with views stretching out over the Devon hills towards Exmoor. The dome is the perfect place to escape for a restfull retreat. Look out for bats and barn owls flying low at dusk. DESCRIPTION: The giant dome provides warmth and luxurious accomodation all year round. The panoramic views are best enjoyed from the sofa with the fire crackling in the wood burner. Each piece of furniture has been hand picked by Ania, a range of natural mateirals, pre-loved pieces and design classics. The wooden pagoda next to the dome provides all the key facilities you need. The roof provides shelter for an outside dining area, inside is a fully equipped kitchen with a shower cubicle tucked beind. You can dine outdoors whilst enjoying modern comforts, and retreat inside when the time is right. The timber structure is the design of architects Rural Office. It sits as a sculpture in the landscape, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside. The dome is secluded by lush gardens, designed by Ania, to create a jungle of colour and natural habitats. Our favourite thing to do is simply to sit on the deck and gaze out at the sweeping views. We provide everything you need for a perfect mini break. WE PROVIDE: - Undercover dining with spectacular views. - Dreamy hammock chair. - Mains electricity & water. - Woodburner and electric radiators. - A vast 7m diameter geodesic dome with space for living, lounging and snoozing. - A luxurious king size bed with all linen, pillows and blankets. - A futon sofa that can become a double bed. - A day bed sofa that can become a single bed. - Library with selection of fiction, non-fiction titles, games and activities. - Bespoke kitchen with double induction hob, large sink, mini-fridge, kettle, toaster and plenty of storage. - All kitchen utensils, plates, pots, cutlery etc even garlic press. - Black Tea & selection of Pukka herbal Teas - Climpson and Son Coffee beans & coffee grinder - Large firebowl and BBQ. - Hot outdoor shower. - Private modern compost loo. - No wi-fi but good 4G reception. Guest access The dome comes with it's own private gardens in a quiet corner of the farm. Other things to note We have three unique places for guests to choose from, each with their own private gardens and hammocks. We also run jewellery and print making workshops from our art studio here in Devon. Ania runs 'how to make a ring' workshops which are a lovely creative and meditative process.
