The William Seward Manor House (Up To 7 Bedrooms)

We invite you to experience the clean fresh air of the countryside, the Chautauqua Wine Trail, the beaches on Lake Erie's Barcelona Harbor and Chautauqua Lake, or visit an Amish community to experience how they have lived for 100s of years where you can shop for delicious baked goods, leather work, wood slabs, furniture, and even Amish medicine. Head further south and you can visit the historical Chautauqua Institute and perhaps catch a cultural event during their 9 week summer program. The space THE GROUNDS Walk the grounds, lay in a hammock, relax in a glider on the balcony, BBQ on our coal or gas grills, socialize or dine outside on the patio, deck, or Carriage house porch, or visit the gazebo where you can find yard games for the family such as bocce and corn hole. THE ROOM(s) All rooms include wifi with high-speed internet access and exercise room access. The Seward Room: The Seward Room is located on the second-floor balcony in the historic portion of the residence. This suite includes a sitting area, spacious bathroom with a shower with dual shower heads, the main balcony facing toward Lake Erie (visibility dependent upon weather and foliage), a king bed and a pullout couch, TV, Roku, and gas fireplace. Carriage House Rooms: These suites (370 sq ft) include a sitting area, private hot tub for 2, shower, porch and balcony access, a king (1 unit) or queen bed (2 units), Roku, high-speed Wi-Fi, mini refrigerator, and coffee maker. A microwave is included with the Sloan Room. Guest access No other guests will be booked during your stay and your group will have exclusive access to the shared spaces. Guests will have access to 1 private room for every 2 guests in your booking. Alternative arrangements are available upon request that may include additional fees. Guests will have access to the Grounds, Front Deck, Patio, Carriage House Porch and Balcony, Exercise Room, Gazebo, Front Balcony, as well as the Dining Room, Parlor and Library in the historical portion of the Inn. While we are working on restoration of the rest of the Inn - upon request - arrangements can be made for access to other areas of the house such as the kitchen depending on their renovation status and availability. We will take your lead on the level of interaction you would like.
