This is a great up and coming hipster area with great local bars, restaurants, and cafes. Walking distance to subway transit (Lansdowne station - 10min walk). Self Check-In using smartlocks. Great wifi internet!! AC & Heating!! All beddings washed after each booking. Shared bathroom. Occupied by two other male roommate. The space This space is great for people who are looking to be walking distance and near transit from the best areas in Toronto and Junction-Wallace Emerson Area. We two other occupants living in the rental unit. The room has a very comfortable double size mattress with microfiber sheets to ensure you a good night's sleep. In addition the room has a chair, a desk, a mirror and a large window with shade. As a guest in our home, I hope you will feel comfortable as you would your own home. -Steps away from the Streetcar/Subway (10 minute walk to Lansdown station) -Convenient self-check-in -Steps away from the action in a perfect Toronto location -clean bedding and towels (note: you will only be provided one set at the beginning of your stay). Please note that this is a clean and quiet house and it will be quiet hours between 9pm-8am. Guest are provide initiation linen and towels, but we do not offer free cleaning or turnover services. They are expected to wash and clean the linen and will not be provide additional toiletry and toilet paper from what was originally provided. Please note the private room is on the ground floor. Please be respectful of the other guests and residences in the property. This is our home and we aim to keep it clean and tidy, however this is not a hotel. Rule applies for all common areas and your own private room. Cleaning supplies are available if you cause a mess. However, from time to time someone will leave a mess. The best we can do is let the perpetrator know and ask them to clean it up or to pay for cleaning. If you see that someone has caused a mess please let us know right away so that we can let the perpetrator know that they need to clean up. Cleaning of common area and washroom is performed at least once a month. This listing is an economy offering and we only want to have low maintenance guests. If you are looking for a high end luxury experience, expecting immediate responses to your inquiries, requests, or complaints, or expecting someone to show up at your door in 5 minutes after you have requested it then This is not the place for you..... EXTRA COSTS In order to keep costs low, we only provide initial bedding, towels, toilet paper, etc. (please inquire about pricing for additional services) For most issues we try to resolve situations through online chat to minimize costs for guest(s) and there are various malls and drugmarts within walking distance if you need to purchase anything. However, if you require anything then you can request additional services, but there will be a charge. Also, note our service providers even though they are local they do not live at the property, so it might take up to 12-24 hours to respond depending on availability and when the requests are made. Examples of such services include: - New Towels - New Bedding - Additional Toilet Paper - Being locked out and requiring some in person assistance to open a door. Occupancy Notice While our listing allow bookings for more than one guest, However, the private rooms are primarily designed for solo occupancy. The layout, furniture, and storage space are optimized for one person. Guests are welcome to book for two occupants where permitted; however, please note that the room size and amenities may feel limited for multiple guests. PARKING: There are plenty of overnight parking lots within walking distance of the property. Guest access Guest(s) enter through the back door entrance using a code. Guest(s) have their own private room. The private room is located on the ground floor. Guest(s) have access to a shared common washroom. Please keep washroom door open when they are unoccupied Guest(s) have access to the kitchenette area or any food prep facility. During your stay Airbnb's messaging app is the best way to communicate with me. I travel for work so I will not be there in person most of the time. I have a co-host who helps me from time to time. Shared Washroom Etiquette: Guests are asked not to hog the shared washroom and limit themselves to at most 15-30 minutes if possible. Also, in consideration for everyone who has a job or morning classes, in the morning from 7am - 10am we ask that guests please limit washroom use to 15 minutes during this time period. Guests are expected to clean after themselves and not to cause a mess. Shared Kitchen Etiquette: There are no garbage cans in the kitchen. Guests that use the kitchen for food preparations are required to take their trash and food waste out to he garbage bins outside. (Small garbage bags and compost bags are provided) Guests are expected to clean after themselves and not to cause a mess. Shared Laundry Room: Contains washer and dryer. Interior Noise In Common Area: We have a number of occupants in our apartments. We do have quite hours, but many have different schedules and are entitled to use shared facilities as long as they are not disturbing anyone. Your accommodations might be next or near the mechanical room, common area fire door, stairway, washrooms(s), kitchens, or laundry machines. If you are sensitive to noise then we would recommend you not book this listing. Noise Outside: Our city is constantly under construction and this listing is near a busy intersection. You may hear outside noise (construction and street noises) especially if you open your windows. If you are sensitive to noise then we would recommend you not book this listing.
