The space ☆ About the property ☆ We are a small family owned motel located just outside of Washburn, ME, and 7 minutes from Presque Isle, ME. We are located on Rte. 164, and 7 minutes west of Rte. 1 We strive to provide extremely clean, comfortable and affordable units, uniquely designed and decorated to give you the feeling of being at home. Whether you are in the area for business, vacation, visiting relatives, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATVing, or any other reason, Aroostook Hospitality Inn is here to provide you the best service possible to accommodate your needs. ☆ Outdoor Recreation ☆ Washburn and Presque Isle are known for their impressive outdoor all seasons recreation options, sporting close access to countless parks, campgrounds, public boat landings, and trail systems. Activities include: Snowmobiling and ATVing Fishing and hunting Canoeing/kayaking Hiking/Nature walks Picnicking Snowshoeing Geocaching Swimming Wildlife Observation Foraging ...and much more! ☆River Access☆ Our property is directly across from the Aroostook River (which runs parallel with ITS 164), and this ensures easy accessibility for our guests. Key Points of Interest Easy Trips: The river section from Washburn to Presque Isle is generally considered an easy trip with mostly flat water, making it suitable for canoes and kayaks. Scenic Views: The route offers pleasant views of farms and woodlands, with an eagle nesting site halfway along the route. Wildlife Viewing: The area supports inland waterfowl and wading bird habitat, providing opportunities for wildlife viewing. ☆Snowmobiling/ ATVing☆ For our winter enthusiasts, we are located on ITS 164, with an access trail directly from the property. ATVers will find this access trail is available during the ATV season, as well, for direct access. And for those trailering to the area, we have a large parking lot where your trailers can be parked during your stay. Speak with the office about park and ride options, if desired! Rooms 1-5 are just to the left hand side of the office lobby, in the center of the building, with 6-10 to the right hand side. ☆Public Spaces☆ The lobby attached to our office in the center of the front of the building is accessible 24/7 for guests onsite, and guests can find prepped coffee pots here, as well as a full sized fridge, microwave, and disposable plates and silverware, as well as lobby use mugs. There is also a gazebo our guests are welcome to use, with available charcoal or propane grills, gazebo table and chairs, and grilling implements. Near our gazebo is also a 6-8 seater picnic table. On the opposite side is a fire pit and seating. Please let us know before you utilize the grills or the fire pit, for safety purposes. Other things to note ☆ 24/7 Access to fresh amenities during the guest stay☆ Additional fresh towels and toiletries are available during the guests' stay by reaching out to the office onsite, or stopping in during the day- guests have access to an amenities cart during office hours, if they prefer to keep to themselves. Every 3 nights, we are happy to reset the linens in the room if desired. Otherwise, we provide a weekly cleaning of the guest unit while guests are out for the day, and will replace the in unit linens and towels automatically at that time. ☆ We are a Pet-Friendly Property ☆ Let your pet experience a new adventure with you! Aroostook Hospitality Inn Washburn welcomes pets in this unit, and just asks our guests to follow property policies during their stay. Please note, this does not typically include the wildlife. We repeat, please do not bring them inside with you. They are happy outside. We promise. ☆ Non-Smoking Units ☆ All units on the property are non-smoking. Please refrain from smoking inside this rental! Guests must utilize marked outdoor smoking area(s). Any evidence of smoking indoors will result in a cleaning/damages fee.
