Oceanfront location with large seaside pool. Access to two great marked dive spots and excellent snorkeling right from our seaside dock. The most popular beach on Bonaire is just on the other side of our secure access beach gate. Dive Friends Bonaire is next door! The space OceanVista is a large penthouse unit with two bedrooms and a sleeping loft, offering comfortable space for up to 6 people, though even couples enjoy being able to spread out and enjoy room to breathe. Every room is airconditioned, and all windows and doors have screens so you can also open up and enjoy the fresh tradewinds without the worry of mosquitoes. Please NOTE* Electricity is included in rate up to 40 kWh per day. A meter is accessible for guests to monitor their usage. Guest will be charged any overage at the current island published rate after check-out. The livingroom and kitchen are in a large greatroom with high vaulted ceilings A large wall of sliding glass opens onto a spacious balcony for dining or relaxing while taking in the stunning oceanview out to Klein Bonaire and all the way up the shoreline to Washington Slagbaai National Park. Each bedroom has an ensuite bath with large walk-in shower. All beds are super comfortable, with memory foam and cotton linens. There is a king size bed in the oceanfront mastersuite that also opens onto the balcony. The second bedroom suite has two twin xl beds, and the loft has two twin size beds. There are flat screen TVs with bluray players in each bedroom and the livingroom, which also has an IPod/IPhone docking stereo. The kitchen is full size and fully equipped, including oven, cooktop and hood, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge, coffee maker, toaster, blender, mixer, food processor, electric kettle, immersion blender, Crockpot, and abundant cookware, dishes, utensils and serving ware. A laundry room is equipped with a full-size washing machine and drying rack. This unit is very clean, regularly maintained and all furnishings are kept in top notch condition. Guest access In addition to the fabulous condo, the property (Port Bonaire Residencia) is a gated community, offering superb privacy and security. Guests will be provided the pedestrian gate access code, so just a short walk from the airport and you are inside the property. Once you are inside the unit, you will find your gate remote so you can open and close the main parking gate to bring in your rental car or for taxi service access. Rental cars are available just across the street, and taxis easily arranged with a quick call from the cell phone provided for you in the unit. The property is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens that are home to tropical birds, beautiful butterflies, and iguana among the abundant flowers. There is a large seaside pool and sundeck. The pool is a "MagnaPool" system. The crystal clear water is much more healthy for your skin and the environment than harsh chlorine chemicals. There are abundant lounge chairs for a quiet nap or peaceful reading session in the warm sun. Our dock has a sturdy wide stairway into the sea providing super easy entry for snorkelers and divers alike. There is also a rinse tank, and shower on the dock. A short swim takes you to two fabulous snorkeling reefs or two named dive-sites, Windsock and Eighteenth Palm. Our secure beach gate opens with a code you will be provided. Through the gate you will walk onto Te Amo beach, the most popular public beach on Bonaire where you will find a sandy beach, shady retreats, and a couple of excellent food trucks providing great meals or quick snack on the beach. Other things to note We provide free, secure, private wifi - not a "resort" connection shared by all. Dive-Friends dive shop is located adjacent to our property, just through the gate. For my guests, Dive-Friends extends a 10% DISCOUNT on all air/nitrox packages, boat/shore dive packages, and all courses. Dive-Friends is one of the largest dive operators on the island with 5 convenient locations North to South, so you will always have tanks nearby. They also have boat dives leaving from their dock at our complex each day.
