Other things to note What to Know Before Your Stay A Few Friendly Notes from Previous Guests We’re excited to welcome you to our cozy retreat! Here are a few things our past guests thought you might like to know, especially if you’re new to the area: The Road: The 1/3-mile road leading up to our house is a bit narrow and winding. It adds to the charm but requires a little extra attention while driving. Just take it slow and enjoy the scenery! Home Cooling: The SF Bay Area is blessed with a wonderfully temperate climate, so we usually keep our windows and doors open to let in the fresh air. While we do have heating for cooler days, we don’t have AC, except in the home office. For those rare hot nights, all bedrooms are equipped with standing fans to keep you comfortable. Meal Heating: In our kitchen, we embrace a more traditional approach to heating food. We use a toaster oven/air fryer, stovetop, or oven, and we don’t have a microwave.
