The most distinctive and unique mansion in the city of Staunton, this 1893 Queen Anne home is ideally located in the heart of the beautiful and historic Gospel Hill neighborhood. Situated on an expertly landscaped 1.3-acre lot and just steps from the heart of downtown Staunton, The Historic Inn at Oakdene offers 8 individual suites available for rent. The space Named in honor of Edward Echols, the Lieutenant Governor of Virginia in the late 1800's (and the original owner of Oakdene), the Governor's Suite is located on the third floor and features a king bed desk, seating area, full-length mirror and closet, as well as an en-suite with a single vanity, large walk-in shower with dual rain shower heads, and a toilet.
