Beautiful house in Lot - swimming pool

This family house with private swimming pool surrounded by a large garden and a cedar park is our little piece of heaven. Located 10 minutes from Cahors, the house offers both the comfort and calm necessary to relax, with outdoor and indoor games, but also a base to discover the Lot, whether it is the Lot Valley with its beautiful villages such as Rocamadour and St Cirq Lapopie, Quercy Blanc, Bouriane, or Causse. The space Our house has the charm of the old houses of the Lot. It offers comfortable spaces, warm and suitable for multiple activities. On the ground floor, the large warm and bright kitchen allows you to take time for family breakfasts, and cook with ease while constantly having a view of the outdoor spaces. The dining room allows large meals with its extension table that can accommodate more than 12 people. It also offers a relaxation area in the seating area, and opportunities for games for several around the foosball or arcade kiosk with more than 8000 games available. The oldest part of the house, and intentionally less bright than the other rooms, the dining room keeps a particularly pleasant freshness in summer. In the extension, there are the toilet and a bathroom with shower as well as access to a bedroom (1 double bed) a little reminiscent of a wooden house. On the 1st floor, a second more cozy living room in front of the wood stove offers a new relaxation area, with many board games available and an office area, but also direct access to the outside under the front porch with views of the garden and pool. The sofa can offer an extra bed for 2 people. A large bedroom (1 double bed) very bright with its two windows, a bedroom (1 trundle bed: 1 place + 1 place if necessary) decorated by and for a child, a bathroom with bathtub and separate toilet surround the living room. Under the roofs, two bedrooms (each with 1 double bed) complete the night part. Outside, the large 10mx5m salt pool with a staircase, not overlooked and private, and the garden with its different spaces (poolside, cedar park, meadow for ball games, pétanque or Mölkky on the driveway,...) will be able to recharge your batteries at all times during your stay. You can also experience timeless moments by admiring the stars of the "best sky in France" from the sun loungers in the garden. More broadly, the house is a pleasant base for discovering the Lot and its region, whether it is Cahors (10 minutes away) with its small merchants, its Saturday morning market, its alleys or its magnificent cathedral or its well-known Pont-Valentré, the caves of Pech Merle or the Gouffre de Padirac, or St-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, Martel, Carennac, Loubressac, or Autoire and its waterfall, or even the Dordogne .. (less than hour). Hiking, climbing, caving, canoeing, or markets for local and artisanal products, the Lot, called "Land of wonders", offers "a surprise at every step". Guest access 11 km from Cahors and 4 km from Exit 57 Cahors Nord of the A20 highway. Nearest airports: Brive, Toulouse, Bergerac. Having a car is a must. Other things to note Our cat, Miette, is present in the house. She is autonomous thanks to the cat flap. A certificate of civil liability must be provided before check-in at the house. Tenants are requested to bring their own sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and swimming towels. Exceptionally, sheets, pillowcases and towels can be provided for 25e per bed to be paid upon arrival. Swim towels are not included. As indicated in the house guide that will be sent to you a week before your arrival, we will probably have to come by once in the middle of your summer stay, one morning or at the end of the day at a time agreed with you, to water the outdoor plants.
