The villa also offers modern day conveniences such as air conditioning in all the living spaces, hot water heaters in the spacious bathrooms and strong fiberoptic internet/wifi connectivity. The neighborhood is a mix of single family homes and apartments and boasts one of the city’s oldest mosques where if lucky one can hear excellent qawwali music typically every Thursday night. Being tucked away from the main road, the neighborhood attracts a variety of Kolkata’s quintessential street vendors who make their daily rounds selling fresh produce, household items, street food as well as a gamut of service providers like locksmiths, cobblers, upholsters, implement sharpeners and recyclers. There are also a host of small grocery stores, local cafes, and a full-fledged market within a 5-10 minute walk where you can find pretty much anything you need. The villa is located opposite the Tollygunge metro station and is very well served by all forms of public transportation including buses, taxis, rideshares, cycle rickshaws and three wheeler tuk-tuks. About the Space offered The ground floor of the villa, which is accessed privately from the front car portico and main door, is being offered exclusively to guests who are looking to enjoy the experience of living in this oasis while being close to all that Kolkata has to offer. The accommodation spans over 1450 square feet of living space which includes a welcoming spacious reception foyer with seating, a very large living and dining room that features a wet bar with a mini fridge, a garden view sitting room, two bedrooms each with plenty of hanging and dresser storage for personal effects and ensuite bathrooms that have large walk-in showers, a fully equipped kitchen, a clothes washer and iron. In addition guests will have access to strong wifi, a smart TV and sound system, multiple USB charging ports in the bedrooms, 3 different work stations and plenty of comfortable areas to simply relax including the beautiful garden and patio. All bed linen, towels and basic toiletries including bath gel, shampoo and toilet paper will be provided. Services Provided Live-in staff at the villa provide Building Maintenance and optional Housekeeping services. They are available to make your stay comfortable and attend to any special requests. Optional services such as daily cleaning/housekeeping, grocery shopping and laundry will be provided for additional reasonable charges as listed below and payable directly to the staff at the time of service.
