The interior is thoughtfully decorated, spacious and includes all the amenities you would need for an excellent vacation. Just walk across the street to the beach and enjoy the amazing Ocean View! The space We are located directly across from Babes Beach and just minutes away from the historic Strand District, Pleasure Pier, Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn, and dozens of restaurants and cafes. Full renovation complete in 2024!!! Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms as well as a fully equipped kitchen and 3 smart tvs! Huge private balcony directly facing the ocean and a Large pool with ocean view shared with other guests. Guest access -2 bedrooms: 1 king, 1 queen - 2 full bathrooms -1 Air mattress - public pool - Free parking for 1 vehicle -tennis court/pickle ball court Other things to note ATTENTION: We are located in a condominium complex. Other guests share the pool & hot tub. There are units below your unit. Please understand that you may hear other guests during your stay. We also ask that you please be courteous to the other guests in the complex. If this is an issue for you, we encourage you to ask about our top-floor units or to please not book with us. We are located on Seawall Blvd. There is traffic noise on the balcony. CANCELATION POLICY: We have a FIRM cancellation policy in place to protect our guests and us. While we have made exceptions in the past, we are not obligated to refund a guest for anything outside our cancellation policy. We advise our guests to consider purchasing Airbnb insurance if it aligns with their needs. Please make sure to read what the insurance covers before you purchase it, as it may not cover your reason for canceling. Our guests' safety is so important to us, and for this, we will always offer a full refund if a Hurricane in the Gulf is heading towards Galveston. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. We are here to help in any way we can. PARKING: The complex has limited parking. We can guarantee you one free spot. There are 10 Extra spots available on a first-come, first-served basis for a second vehicle. The second spot will cost $20 per day. If you would like to reserve a second spot, please let us know as soon as you make your booking so we can ensure there is availability. The parking fee for the second vehicle will be paid upon check-in at the front lobby, where you will receive a "Special" pass for it. The first free Vehicle will have a "Regular" pass located in the condo. POOL: The pool is shared with other guests staying at Captain's Cove. There are no lifeguards on duty. While rare, the pool may be closed during your stay due to maintenance, chemical treatment, or weather conditions that legally require closure. If it rains during your stay, the pool's color may change, and it may need to be closed temporarily for treatment. We will always do our best to inform our guests of the pool's status during their stay. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. HOT TUB: A hot tub is on the property. However, it is unpredictable, so we cannot guarantee it will be in working order for our guests. For this reason, we do not list it as an amenity on our listing. If it is in working order during your stay, you are more than welcome to use it. Please understand that the hot tub is not guaranteed. GYM: There is a gym on the property. You must be 18 or older to use the gym. Unfortunately, the gym equipment is not always in working order, so we do not list it as an amenity. If the gym is in good working condition during your stay, you are more than welcome to use it. Please understand that the gym is not guaranteed. PEST CONTROL: Because our property is part of a condominium, we are required to have quarterly pest control. This process is very quick; you do not have to leave the condo if you do not wish to, and you also do not need to be present, as management has a key for entry. Please understand that this may occur during your stay. We will almost always be able to give you a heads-up if this occurs during your reservation; however, there may be times when we are unaware of it. They will always knock first before entering. WINDOWS: Please DO NOT open the windows in the condo unless it is for an emergency. Humidity will damage the condo's interior. *Please understand that in the summer months, the condos will get warmer during the Day. ACs are designed to cool the interior by 15-20 degrees below the outside temperature. Galveston has extreme humidity, so the condo may reach up to 80 degrees on the hottest days, but it cools at night, of course. *Due to this being a condominium, there is always the potential for random and planned renovations, maintenance, and or construction that are out of our control. Please ask us if you have any concerns or questions. Thank you. *Please be aware that Galveston Island can be prone to occasional power interruptions. If you experience a power outage, you can check the Outage Map at CenterPoint Energy for more information on the extent and the projected time for restoration.
