Cottage pod Řípem comfortably accommodates 6 people. It is located in a quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the pond and is designed primarily for family relaxation. We renovated the cottage in a retrostyl. We've also adjusted the yard for a nice coffee or a nice meal. In the garden there is a fire pit, in the summer months a pool and in case of bad weather, you can use an outdoor covered sitting area with a wood stove. Cyclists can store their bikes in a locked room (with conquest). The space When you enter the cottage, you will find yourself first in its (unheated) hallway, which is used to lay down the top clothes and shoes. In the hallway there is a door to a spacious pantry where you can store your food supplies and find amenities that you could use during your stay (clothes dryer, cleaning products, as well as other kitchen equipment such as large bowls, pots, baking pans, bandanas, etc.). From the hallway, you walk into the fully equipped kitchen, which forms the imaginary center of the cottage. To the left is the door to the small bedroom, which is equipped with two single beds, from it you then walk into a large bedroom, which is equipped with a comfortable double bed and two single beds. All of our beds have quality reclining grates. Both bedrooms then overlook the pond that the sun sets for the evening. To the right of the kitchen is a common room equipped with two large tables and plenty of seating. From the common room there is a door to a small but equipped original bathroom, where there is also a toilet. This creates a space for the washing machine that is available to you during your stay. You can view the cottage on our website where a virtual tour is ready for you. The cottage has a small original bathroom, equipped with retro accessories. In the bathroom you will find a bath with a shower screen and WC. The cottage is newly heated with underfloor heating. In addition, there is a heating ladder in the bathroom. The cottage is not equipped with any electronics. WiFi is available for those who want to watch their favorite shows or social media on their own devices. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your meals and cooking. It includes a dishwasher, a gas stove, an electric oven, a microwave (in the pantry), a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a large fridge. In the yard there is a table with benches, plus a bench under the window, where the morning sun sets. In the backyard, there is a fire pit, a pool, and a covered sitting area with a wood stove. Guest access The road to the cottage is easy. In the village, you will go from the main road to a narrow tarmac, drive between the houses and you are by the pond in front of the cottage. You park in front of the house. Other things to note For small shopping, there is a Coop grocery store 100 m from the cottage across the main road. Another option is to bring your purchase to the threshold of the cottage from the Rohlík, Košík delivery service. If you want to relax from preparing your own meals, we can recommend lunches and dinners at the Amálka Hotel, which is located next to another pond and is 1.2 km away on foot from the cottage. In the summer months, there is also a nice garden. From nearby Mnetěš, there is also a phone order to deliver delicious homemade pizza. The location of the cottage will be appreciated by cyclists who can connect to the Elbe Bike Trail nearby. Tourists will appreciate the beauty of the Bohemian Central Mountains or simply can wander through meadows and tresses and walk up to the monumental hill Říp and hike from the non-touristic side from the nearby village of Mnetěš. The visitors of the cottage have a short walk to the royal donor city of Mělník, where there is a possibility of swimming in natural sand houses or in a beautiful swimming pool in the summer months. If, on the other hand, you go to the district town of Litoměřice, you will find a historic town with lots of cafes and restaurants that line the entire main square or are hidden in the side historical streets. The closest is Straska's pleasant Roudnice nad Labem, where you can, for example, a small motorcycle. If you include a visit to the capital city of Prague in your program, know that it will take you less than an hour from Strakov to the center, and if you do not want to travel by car, there is the possibility of direct bus connection.
