Chalupa pod Řípem

The cottage under Říp comfortably accommodates 6 people. It is located in a quiet location in the immediate vicinity of the pond and is designed primarily for family relaxation. We renovated the cottage in a retro style. We have also modified the courtyard for a pleasant sitting with coffee or good food. There is a fireplace in the garden, a swimming pool in the summer months and in case of bad weather, you can use the outdoor covered seating with a fireplace. Cyclists can store their bikes in a locked room (with the possibility of charging). The space When you enter the cottage, you will first find yourself in its (unheated) hallway, which is used to store outerwear and shoes. In the hallway there is a door to a spacious pantry where you can store your food supplies and you will find equipment that you could use during your stay (clothes dryer, cleaning products and also other kitchen equipment such as large bowls, pots, baking dishes, pans, etc.). From the hallway you will pass into a fully equipped kitchen, which forms the imaginary center of the cottage. On the left is the door to a small bedroom, which is equipped with two single beds, from which you will pass into a large bedroom, which is equipped with a comfortable double bed and two single beds. All our beds have high-quality adjustable grates. Both bedrooms have a view of the pond, over which the sun sets in the evening. To the right of the kitchen is a common room equipped with two large tables and plenty of seating. From the common room there is a door to a small but equipped original bathroom, where there is also a toilet. This also created space for a washing machine, which is available to you during your stay. You can view the cottage on our website where a virtual tour is prepared for you. The cottage has a small original bathroom, equipped with retro accessories. In the bathroom you will find a bathtub with a shower curtain and a toilet. The cottage is newly heated with underfloor heating. There's also a heating ladder in the bathroom. The cottage is not equipped with any electronics. WiFi is available for those who want to watch their favorite shows or social networks on their own devices. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your meals and cooking. You will find a dishwasher, gas stove, electric oven, microwave (in the pantry), coffee maker, kettle and large fridge. In the yard there is a table with benches, plus a bench under the window where the morning sun falls. In the garden there is a fireplace, swimming pool and covered seating with a fireplace. Guest access The way to the cottage is simple. In the village, you will turn off the main road onto a narrow asphalt road, pass between the houses and you will be at the pond in front of the cottage. You park in front of the house. Other things to note For small purchases, there is a Coop grocery store 100 m from the cottage across the main road. Another option is to have your purchase brought to the doorstep of the cottage from the delivery service Rohlík, Košík. If you want to take a break from your own cooking, we can recommend lunch and dinner at the Amálka Hotel, which is located by another pond and is 1.2 km from the cottage on foot. In the summer months, there is also a pleasant garden. From nearby Mnetěš, there is also a telephone order for the delivery of excellent homemade pizza. The location of the cottage will be appreciated by cyclists, who can connect to the Elbe Cycle Path nearby. Tourists will certainly appreciate the beauty of the Bohemian Uplands or they can simply wander through the meadows and groves and reach the memorable mountain Říp and climb it from the non-tourist side from the nearby village of Mnetěš. A short distance away, visitors to the cottage have the royal town of Mělník, where in the summer months there is the possibility of swimming in natural sand pits or in a beautiful swimming pool. If you go to the other side of the district town of Litoměřice, you will find a historic town with lots of cafes and restaurants that line its main square or are hidden in the side streets. The closest to Straškov is the pleasant Roudnice nad Labem, where you can go, for example, by a small motorcycle. If you include a visit to the capital city of Prague in your program, you should know that the journey from Straškov to the center will take you less than an hour and if you do not want to travel by car, there is a direct bus connection.
